Added 2018-10-04 15:22:53 +0000 UTCA surprisingly simple yet surprisingly good looking portal effect all done inside Toon Boom.
The main effect is two turbulence nodes, one for an overall waviness and another for the smaller bubbly effect. (turbulence nodes are a gift from the animation gods) And on top of that, various glows, blurs and masks that bring it together.
