Proper English translations would still be nice though. If reaching more people overseas is something you would like to do there's always services like Irodori that can manage translation on your behalf. https://irodorilite.com/pages/heisha I've bought a lot of doujins translated by then in the past. If you at some point wanted to compile your art and short stories into some sort of collection for sale I think it's a good idea to look into the English market as well. In the end it's up to you though! :)
