The incorporation of historical bits, the structure, how bone chillingly visceral it was in parts. You've successfully painted a portrait of a horrible, horrible man, and I am incredibly intrigued to see how the party deals with such a force. Also, interested to see if the whole "hunger" not being a metaphor and a seemingly genuine force that pains him could play out mechanically.
