Important update regarding lowering prices (Good for you), feedback needed!

Hey everyone, this is a little bit of a long one so please read if you are able <3

Just so it is clear, prices would be going DOWN, not up, so this would be good for patrons!

There is something that I've been giving a lot of thought to lately and that thing is tier prices and the general state of things in the world, financially speaking. Everyone including myself has seen a rise in prices across the board, from utility bills, to gas, to tax and food, internet, basically everything it feels like is going up. 

This sucks, especially when it ends with many of us having to cut out things that make us happy, subscription services like netflix, patreon, music and all the other good stuff. I've definitely had to cut back on some things I really didn't want to. 

I've gotten a lot of message from patrons saying that they wish they could stay but are unable to because of all the above stuff going on, which is of course completely understandable, thank you from the bottom of my heart to every single one of you past and present. 

I started this patreon because I wanted to be able to help people bring their games to life and become part of cherished memories of the adventures they'd been on, while hopefully be able to make a living off of it so it is something I could keep doing for a long time. 

So with all that in mind I've been mulling over a decision regarding the pricing of my tiers in hopes that doing so would enable many of you to continue to enjoy my content without feeling too much of a financial hit from it. 

In the spirit of full transparency if I were to go forward with my decision to lower tier prices, I would take a hit, it would theoretically cut my patreon income by around half if everyone took advantage of the change. I've gotten a lot of feedback from others telling me this is a stupid idea business wise and that I shouldn't do it, I understand where they are coming from. That would hurt, yes, but the more important part for me is that it would help you, hopefully. 

I was thinking of rearranging the tiers into just one tier, at perhaps $4 which would be around:

A 50% discount for the $8 Stainer of Karbon tier.
A minor discount and value boost for the $5 Scoffer of Brownies tier .
A huge value boost should they choose to spend an extra dollar for the $3 Little Kultist tier.

As for you who have annually pledged who would basically be screwed over by this change, I definitely see you, this is something I'm still thinking on.
