Her body convulsed, ropes creaking, as the hissing flare crackled, filling the air with the stench of burning tissue. Art’s silent grin widened, his eyes gleaming with sadistic joy, as Nikki’s muffled, agonized wails faded into a choking rasp, her throat a charred ruin, her agonized wails choking into silence as her life snuffed out, leaving her dead. Art lingered, his eyes gleaming with sick delight, watching her lifeless face melt, skin dripping into sizzling sparks and oozing pools of melted flesh, his silent grin fixed on the grotesque spectacle.
