Kayt screamed, scrambling back, but Art grabbed her wrist with icy strength. He pinned her down, his void-like eyes gleaming. With a silent chuckle, he jammed the scissors into her nostril. Blood sprayed as the blades tore through cartilage and bone with a sickening crunch. Kayt convulsed, choking on her own blood as Art twisted the scissors deeper, shredding tissue. Her vision faded as he yanked the blades free, a gush of blood and brain matter splattering his face.
