It's great to have so much to add this month! Not only new spicy bits, but a major addition to the city and a scene chain to go in it. More little UI changes and optimizations, and the first of many minigames for different unique situations Dean can find himself in.

UI Changes

The main UI now includes your exact location. This is intended to help with understanding navigation and to tie the descriptions of where to go in the walkthrough to names you can see in game.

Text messages have been improved by giving them a proper round bubble. Since multiple storylines will involve texting, pictures, videos and eventually sexting, it's important make the whole phone work well.

Pictures can also be clicked on to expand and see them take up more of the screen. For your improved enjoyment of anything you get sent by someone.

Scrollable full-body centerfolds now have a helpful click-and-drag image to make it more clear that you can see more by scrolling around.

• Stadium Park has bird sounds in the day and crickets at night.

• Stadium Park also has its own gentle guitar music to go with the natural setting.

• Dog barking, growling and panting has been added for meeting and interacting with Teddy in the park.

Locations

Stadium Park is the core location of the Stadium Hill subway stop and hub. This park will be a major location with lots of scenes and character interactions.

When you first come to the park, Dean has no idea how to navigate its trails to find the different locales within the park. And learning the paths through the trails will be a puzzle game. Since this is a lot to implement, the first version will not have all the puzzle elements and the trails screen simply tells you the right directions to reach each corner of the park.

Once you find each area, they will remain unlocked, showcasing how Dean's memory persists from week to week through the loop. This is a big part of the 'progressive unlocks and upgrades' philosophy of the game.

Greased Lightning Burgers and Shakes is a new location on Longline Boulevard. This spot will be used for casual dates, hanging out with friends, meeting side characters, and eventually spicy content. But for now, it has no proper unlock conditions, so it's just an auto-unlock for this release so you can't miss going there. Grab a burger, who knows where a bite to eat might come in handy.

This location will receive a lot more changes and improvements later so that it feels as alive as the rest of the city throughout each day of the week.

Scenes

Charlotte's post-concert sex scene now has a level 1 alternate. Less involved, less dramatic, but her body is somewhat different and this will continue to get updates for Charlotte levels 2 and 3 once they are ready.

The biggest scene addition is Off Leash, at Stadium Park. Here you can meet Kim, who has lost her dog. Tracking him to where he ended up will lead to a minigame to chase him down, although there may be a better way to get a hold of him and earn her interest in meeting up again later.

This is not just a single scene, but a scene chain that can be tried again and again over several weeks until you can find a way to get Kim to spend more time with you.

Bugs Fixed

There were no bugs reported in the last month, but I reviewed the April release and it seems as though a bit of code went missing (on the wrong branch) and this left the Happy Hour scene broken. This has been rectified.

Next Up

There wasn't time in May to update IDM After Dark to include a complete spicy encounter with Charlotte when she's at level 1+. This will be the first addition for June.

There may or may not be a new location in June. If not, there will be a lot of scene work to add more interactions over existing locations. More places to go are good, more things to do in the week are better.

It's a small thing, but June will also be the month that the main character name becomes customizable. And at least a first version of the actual prologue of the game will get added, so you can see just who Sathuriel is when he's not lurking in a mirror and what deal he makes with our main character.
