These arm sleeves make any outfit complete with the interesting details. Here I show you how to make them (rest of the outfit to come)..
Started off with my pattern, I measured around my wrist and elbow, take away 10% for the best fit.
I used 0.40mm bubblegum pink and 0.20mm flesh colour translucent latex. Also plum 0.40mm with natural translucent 0.40mm latex.
Bear in mind, 0.20mm is quite thin and would recommend thicker if you're new with latex.
I always split my patterns in half and flip over to match. Hence "cf" (centre face) along the side.
Gently mark your x(s), using a ruler to measure my way up. Lightly wipe clean before applying the glue.
Cut long 0.5cm strips and overlap to create an X and roll firmly.
Time to glue 1cm seams together, roll very firmly and make sure going in the gaps. Makes a nice effect too,
Clean off any white Mark's left behind.
Measure around your middle finger
And cut 0.5cm strip. Loop it around and glue it down.
To ensure it doesn't come lose, glue a strip on top and press it down.
I carried on and glued strips all along the inside edge.
And that's how I made them! Uploading the outfit next. Any questions write below...
