Amazon Land - Chapter 37

Chapter 37

Days went by, everyone else at the neighborhood became aware of the new neighbor. These were news, after all, in a neighborhood as small as seven people, it’s evident when they become eight.

Of course, the person who had the most details was Blythe. After all, she’s the only one who’s seen the new guy. He refused to leave the place, it wasn’t easy for him to be stuck here. He felt trapped. Imprisoned even.

It was not easy for Noah, he was once a tall free man, and now he was not only trapped here, as he feels, but he had lost size. Standing now at 5´9”, that’s not tall at all to him. Much less compared to a woman as imposing, as large, as gigantic as Blythe. Who’s the only person he has interacted with over the past few days. Well, “interact” as much as a man who doesn’t want to see her does.

Today, Blythe and the other ladies were having brunch, ladies only. The sky was blue, no clouds in sight, and the sun was shining delightfully. Not too hot, but with a warm touch to your skin.

All four ladies were sitting there. Eunice, Lena, Daisy and, of course, Blythe. The first thing they noticed was a change in Eunice's height. The former “shortie” in the neighborhood was not as short now.

“Tell us, how tall are you dear?” Came Daisy’s voice as she took a sip of her tea.

“Well,” Started Eunice. “I’m 6’9”, we… we had a bit of an incident the other day.”

“Please, don’t call it an incident. There’s nothing wrong with some passion from time to time.” Said Blythe, placing her hand gently on top of Eunice’s.

“I know, it’s just that… Cory and I were not… planning on the change to be as big… we were aiming for just one inch, and we’ve transferred three…” it was easier to say they transferred size than to explain how she grew three-inches and he shrank three.

“It happens, don’t worry.” Lena added.

“And how’s Cory taking it? How short is he? Poor guy, of all the men here, I think he’s the one who’s affected the most by shrinking, isn’t he?” Came Daisy’s caring voice.

“He’s fine, not so happy, but he, we both knew the risk. He’s 4´6” by the way.” Eunice said.

Eunice has grown into an imposing 6´9”, but she’s still the shortest lady at the neighborhood. Daisy’s the closest in height to her, and she’s 7´. Now, Lena’s noticeably taller, looming above them with 7´7”, and Blythe’s an even more gigantic lady, towering above them all with her cheering 8´3”.

“Well, he’s still taller than Andrew, he’s down to 4´.” Lena said.

“I guess my Dan’s now the tallest! He’s 4´7”.” Daisy added.

“Well, Daisy, I think you’re wrong. Noah, my man, he’s the tallest. He’s 5´9” you know. Still above the five-foot-mark. And, may I add, close to the six-foot one.” Blythe said.

They took this as a chance to ask her about this man, who she said was hers. It sounded mildly possessive, not that she’s that way, but they are concerned that Blythe’s not letting him out. That she might have him… prisoner? She’s not that way, but she could be hiding that side of hers very well…

“Oh, right! You… a man has moved in with you!” Lena said, trying to start some gossiping.

“Please, we all received a notification. There’s no need to try and be “subtle”. So, Blythe, how is he? We… haven’t had a chance to meet him. I think… he hasn´t come out of your unit, right?” Eunice asked.

“Yeah, he’s mad. He kind of… blames me for being stuck here. And I think he’s shy, or maybe too upset to come out and meet you. I find it rude, but you know, sometimes men need some space.” Blythe added.

“Poor thing, have you talked to him about it? Maybe he needs a friend.” Daisy said.

“I have not. I’m not going to talk to him until he talks to me first. He said he was going to ignore me so, if he wants to talk, he’ll have to give the first step. But this is kind of… like apologizing, and I won’t be the one who apologizes. I did nothing wrong.” Blythe said.

“Weren’t you the one who shrank him? I think the notification we were sent said that you were his last sexual couple, and that’s the reason why he’s moving in with you. At least that’s what I read…” Said Lena, pretending not to feel the fire of curiosity burning inside her.

“Yes, I’m kind of the reason why he’s here. But his boss made him, besides, he seemed so happy when we had sex. Twice, both times I heard no complaint from him.” Blythe said, taking a bite of the mini donut she had in hand. Well, more like a regular sized donut, but anything’s mini compared to her now.

This is how things were. Noah had no chance of getting to know everyone. A part of him still thinks it’ll be easier to get out if he has no contact with the other people inside.

Therefore, Noah never came out of the unit. He barely looked out the window, just to contemplate the fake freedom he was given. Whether he was inside the unit or out of this neighborhood, he was still stuck. Not free, just doomed to walk on a limited area, a bigger one than a cell, but still, this doesn’t feel like freedom.

His life was not the same. He didn’t really have a need to go out, he can have everything he needs delivered to the unit. Food, clothes, anything. That was good for his personal decision of confining himself.

The only problem was Blythe. But she was loyal to her word. She was not going to help him, not even talk to him.

The bad side of this is that he has no idea on how to use this place. It was like a normal house, and he knows how to live on a unit. The problem was the way things were arranged here. Everything was set for an eight-feet-tall amazon like Blythe. The counter tops were set at about six-feet, which is taller than he is. So was the sink on the bathroom and washing machine.

The fridge was not much of a problem, even if he struggles to reach for the handle, he can still pull the door open. The problem was to reach for the high shelves. But he had the food, his personal food, stored at the bottom, where he could reach.

He had no way to reach for the stove or microwave, so he had to order takeout for lunch and dinner. He often ate yogurt for breakfast. And the laundry, well, he uses the same clothes all day and then he changes into a new one. He had enough clothes for a whole week, he can order more the next week. No need to do laundry, so that was fixed.

He also slept in a different room. A guest room, where the bed was still set for the average person, he didn’t have to climb there. He took it as his room, a place he didn’t leave often. Only to get to the bathroom and eat.

Now, the bathroom was another deal. The toilet was set for a woman of Blythe’s size, which means it’s like a tub! Her enormous ass can only fit in a thing as big as this jacuzzi-sized toilet. It was hard to live at a place designed for an amazon like Blythe, not even his former 6´4” self could’ve had it easier, but this was something he had to deal with.

He was now wandering around the unit. He knew Blythe was gone, he overheard her conversation about brunch, and when he looked out the window he could see she was dressed up, so she was not going to be here for a while. A chance for him to try and learn now to use the modern unit.

It’s not like this is impossible, but he was too mad and too much in a hurry not to bump into her, he didn’t have the time to put some brain into this.

“No way, here’s the button? Right on the side?” He looked at the counter, and he could see two buttons, one with an arrow pointing up and the other one pointing down. It was obvious this makes the counter higher or lower.

“I thought this was all in the tablet and that I needed some sort of code…” He’s only been able to use this tablet to order food. There was a button that said food, and there you can just navigate through the multiple categories. Groceries or takeout, those were the main options. Of course, he was not going to cook. But that can change now.

He feels mad, he’s still upset about what has happened. He has to learn to live the life of a shorter man. He used to feel so tall, so imposing even. More attractive! Some ladies only care if you’re tall, when you’re over 6´3”, that’s the only thing they seem to see. But that was then, now things are different.

He hasn’t met the men here, but he’s been looking out the window, mostly to feel some freedom; and then he could see them coming or going. Men here were short, much shorter than him. Maybe it’s the point of view, for looking down at them from the second floor, but they don’t seem to be above five-feet-tall. He should feel more confident, right? He’s by far the tallest man. Well, that’s comparing heights with men.

All women here are HUGE! He can tell that the shortest would still tower above him even if he was 6´4”, and the tallest ladies, they are way above that. How can a 5´9” man like him want to go out and stand next to a woman above seven-feet-tall? He’s going to feel microscopic! This doesn’t help at all with his confidence. And much less with his will to go out.

He’s stuck here, with the tallest woman there is…

“Have you tried to talk to him?” Eunice asked, “Maybe he can forgive you? It’s not good for him to isolate himself like that.”

“I have not. I was willing to meet him in the middle, I admit I have some of the fault. I mean, if I wasn’t as gorgeous, they wouldn’t have picked me for a special photo shooting. And maybe they wouldn't have wanted more, so he wouldn’t have to make this… sacrifice.” Blythe replied.

“And why don’t you try? He can’t stay mad forever, right?” Eunice insisted.

“It’s not as easy. Whenever I’m there, near him, or even at the same room, he just leaves. I’ve seen him scatter when I walk into a room where he is. It’s as if I was a giant cat his little mouse self is trying to hide from.” she said.

“This is so sad! There should be a chance for you two to work this out.” Daisy said.

“Yeah, it’s not kind of him not to give you a chance. You know, I think that sometimes a little assertiveness helps, that’s how things between me and Andrew have improved. Men are so stubborn sometimes, they need a bit of a firm hand, you know…” Lena said.

“I don’t think that’s the way. I don’t like to impose myself over people who hate me, I just go on with my life. Besides, I think he’ll feel immediately threatened if I was more “assertive”. I’m 8´3” after all.” Blythe giggled.

“Still, I think you should do something.” Eunice said.

“Maybe we can all get in and talk to him?” Lena said.

“I think he’s going to feel overwhelmed by that many people.” Blythe said.

“More like attacked, hehe.” Daisy giggled. “If he’s insecure of his height, a bunch of tall ladies like us won’t be of much help.”

Blythe’s sort of alone in this. If someone can, and has to fix this, that’s her.

But Noah should also meet her in the middle. He can’t just live here as if he was some sort of goblin, hiding and avoiding contact with the other inhabitants. He, at least, should introduce himself to the rest of the people in the neighborhood. Out of mere manners, that would be for the best.

Else, everyone will point to him as the problem. He has isolated himself, and that’s the only way people will see this. Besides, this is not good for his sake. He needs some human interaction, else he might lose it.

And it’s not worth losing your mind for something like this. It’s not worth going insane out of this. Besides, Blythe’s not mean, she’s just… a horny woman. A very big and horny woman.

Maybe he’s afraid of forgiving her because he knows that as soon as things are solved between them, she might try and seduce him. He’s yet unsure if she liked stealing size, to make herself bigger. Or maybe she just likes shrinking men around her?

He’s read about this, sometimes there’s ladies who want to feel bigger, become more dominant and imposing. This was a way to make this, literally, a reality. And there’s women who like to punish men by stealing their size. But what has he ever done to her? When they first met, he didn’t have a chance to talk to her before his boss decided to use him as some sort of sacrifice for her to become bigger.

Maybe he should’ve asked her if she truly wanted this…

Later that day, as the sun was setting at the horizon, Daisy and Dan were having a chat.

It was the usual, they both lied on the couch and talked about their day. But things are a bit different now, their days are pretty much the same. There’s no way to talk about how work was, no chat about a trip to the store. No errands to run here, their lives are much more basic. If anything, they can talk about a book they read, a new recipe they made or something they watched.

However, there’s still a few new things at the neighborhood every now and then. Right now, the new guy, Noah, he was the news.

“So he’s mad? Well, that’s not going to make it easy for him to get any new friends here.” Dan said.

“Come on, give him a break, the poor guy must be terrified. He came here for a job and now, well, he can’t leave. It’s like those horror movies, once you get here, you can never leave.” Daisy said.

“Come on, there’s no need to compare it with a horror movie. He’s not alone, he’s got Blythe, right? Just as I have you…” the man kissed his amazon wife on her thick lips.

“Well, not quite. They share the same unit, but they are not talking. You know, it’s like that one time we fought and stopped talking to each other.” Daisy said.

“Yep, it was one long hour.” Dan said.

“But it’s not a brief hour for them, he’s been isolating himself for days now. I mean, I know him and Blythe are not a couple, like us, but at least they can keep each other company, right?” Daisy added.

“I guess, it’s better to have someone than to be alone. But it makes things much easier when they’re friends. You know, to chat and share some time, like we do, my sweet lady.” Dan said, caressing her face.

“Aww, how sweet, my handsome man. But you know that no one’s like us. We’re married, the rest of the couples here are boyfriend and girlfriend. Except for Blythe and the new guy.” Daisy said.

“Well, maybe they can go from hate to love?” Dan said.

“Let’s hope so…”

A similar discussion was taking place at Lena and Andrew’s place. But this was not as lovely as it was with Dan and Daisy.

“Can you pause that thing? I want to tell you something.” Lena said, walking into the living room and catching Andrew playing videogames.

“Now? But babe, I’m about to win!” Andrew complaint.

The 7´7” amazon stood straight, rose an eyebrow and drove her hands to her hips, looking imposing and clearly letting him know this cannot wait.

“Ok, paused.” he sighed.

“I’m glad. Now, move aside, I have a lot to tell you.” Lena said.

“But, there’s a huge spot right here…” Andrew pointed at the two-people spot next to him on the couch.

Lena was not asking, she looked at him straight to the eye.

“Fine! I’ll move. You’re being mean, you know…” he complaint.

“I’m only being a little assertive, that’s it. A gentleman would’ve paused the game they were playing and asked me how everything was. And he would’ve stand to offer me a spot on the couch. You, sir, have a lot of manners to learn. I’m just trying to educate you. I want you to be the best version of yourself, that’s all.” She said.

“Sometimes I feel you have too much fun with this…” he added.

“Can you blame me? Now listen, there’s a ton of drama between Blythe and the new guy, Noah. Turns out, he can’t stand her!” With the routinary life they had, this was the most thrilling thing in the neighborhood. Lena just couldn’t wait to tell someone about this. And Andrew’s forced to listen.

The story goes the same as everyone tell it. Now, Eunice was talking to Cory about it.

“Can you imagine? Being stuck at a strange place with someone you dislike?” Eunice asked.

“Well, it happens. The world’s not perfect. Sometimes you have to take a sit next to someone you hate, and sometimes you have an… awkward roomate.” Cory said.

“I guess that’s true. Do you think they will get along, eventually?” Eunice asked.

“Eventually, sure!” Cory replied.

Will Noah forgive Blythe? Who will give the first step? And if either does, what will they do?
