Pulling things back
Added 2024-01-20 22:34:14 +0000 UTCFor those who want the short version I'm working an unhealthy amount of hours with basically two full-time jobs. I need to slow it down.
I'm probably gonna pour my heart out here to you guys about whats going on. I know there's been tons of changes over the past year and that has alot do with my irl job. I've been switching my way of posting to alleviate stress whenever I could without impacting the quality. Really though nothings working, its just a temporary thing. I've thought of just retiring from this but I cant let go because the highs of making a really good project are amazing. Its some of the best fun I've had but when I get in the loop of endless projects and self determined deadlines all the fun turns into more stress. Which under normal circumstances would be manageable but I'm always working. You guys deserve the content because you're paying for it but I may have put my goals to high with frequently posting. I just can't deliver on that right now. If at any point I could supplement my income with this I would do it in a heartbeat. Just what I'm doing now is unsustainable for my health and future of this.
Just to clear things up I'm not leaving.
Whenever I need the break I'm allowing myself to take a couple days off, rest and reflect. If I ever decide to take a prolonged break Ill let you know.
I know a lot of you might be upset about it because you like the frequent content but I hope you understand the decision.
Hopefully you guys are taking rests and enjoying life a bit, you deserve it! Love yall!

Preciate that a lot! I don't really feel as though I'm burnt out which is a good thing. Just need some time whenever I need to recharge. Hopefully all is well with your art journey :)

2024-01-22 04:53:59 +0000 UTCIf you don't take care of yourself and your well being, eventually you are gonna burn out. Definitely take that time for you. Try to consolidate and limit or schedule the time you are putting into this aside from rest time & your main job. I'd rather see less frequent content and you not end up burning out and leaving.
