Since getting back from Open Sauce I have been working non-stop on finishing the battery array! I'm spending over 12 hours a day drilling, cutting, welding, crimping, and wiring. I'm expecting to have it all ready by the end of the week.
By far the worst part of this has been drilling the 2" thick copper. It is horribly tedious and my poor little drill press can barely do it. I've also had to learn to weld, but that has actually been fun. The log splitter switch rebuild has been going along nicely, and although my welds don't look great, they are at least strong. I shouldn't have put off learning to weld for so long.
The weather has been fairly rainy recently and there are mushrooms popping up all around the battery bank right now. They are edible ones too!
Welp I better get back to drilling copper!
