lab progress and more critters
Added 2022-06-25 15:05:48 +0000 UTCi'm getting closer to finally being able to work in my lab! insulation is in, and drywall should be finished next week. after that it's painting and HVAC. i'm kinda losing my sanity not being able to work on projects. i have so much to catch up on.
in the meantime i've found more critters on the property. i found a family of cats living in my back shed, and now that they trust me they are super friendly. i've seen the mama cat around for months, but she wouldn't let me get close to her and i did not know she had a family! i also found a painted turtle laying eggs here. cute!

A friend's older one would give me a smack (clearly an admonishment, no claws) when I sat on her owner's preferred spot on their couch... it took months of visiting every week before she got to the point of approaching me for attention, but then she turned into a total cuddlebug.
