The stigma of white hair is wide spread - a bad omen and a fate bound to the will of the mist. Klarabella's Murmur, the disease of the heart of all knights of the order, slowly fades their hair to a pale white and their eyes a clear green - both traits of the lost hero herself. Earning them less respectable names such as The Hammer Crones or the White Haired Coven.
Just as the disease makes their heart weak and wracked in agony - if faced with the unspeakable monsters of the mist - it can also imbue them with the last strength of Klarabella's assault on Castle Hushabye. Like a remnant memory, or a whisper, of her rage taking hold of their body, allowing them to perform monstrous feats of violence... All at the cost of their ailment progressing faster to its final stages."

Yes. You get a longer life if you live through the order's meditation and devotion, but it also lets the disease develop into further terrible ways in the end. :,3

2019-04-16 04:10:49 +0000 UTCOhhh, very nice. At first I was wondering why an order would only accept people with a heart condition, but this certainly explains it. It seems odd also with the way the Order was founded, did the founders all contract this Pale Heart disease as well?
