Once you finish with XYZ, you should check out diamond and pearl. IMO it has the best Pokemon that Ash has owned, the best rival, the best female companion (when it comes to character development), and the best Champion.

You can go rewatch the 4th special if you don't believe me because it does not spoil anything else. Everyone that said it spoils are just bullshitting.

The mega evolution specials were always a story that eventually leads up to xyz. If bloom choose to watch it after xyz, he's gonna get real confused

The xy mega evolution specials took place during the events of xy and the 4th episode of the specials leads up to the 1st episode of xyz Do not listen to the chat because it does not spoil anything, in fact just look up at the episode list or even bulbapedia and you will see that they placed the mega specials together with xy instead of xyz
