Update 12/21 (Important)

Hello everyone,

Shasu here. This year (technically) I allow myself to have two days vacation without worrying about releases to spend the days with my family. Today on the 24th and New Year on the 1st January. Logically there won't be any public releases on those days. Please bear with me. 

Instead I'm using the time before Christmas Eve to write to you. The year 2021 has been a rather rough ride with a global pandemic and the economical repercussions dominating the majority of the year. Naturally, I have also felt the consequences of it. 

Having said that, I feel deeply thankful towards all of you who have kept supporting my translations throughout this tough time. I can only continue with my work because of your awesome support, so be proud of it! :-)

As a little thanks and means to give you some influence on where this Patreon and my work is going to head in the future, I have prepared a survey. I'd be happy if as many of you could participate as possible (another post will follow after this).

So what have I been doing this year? I finished adding D-Genesis at the beginning of the year, we're now at the end of Volume 3 with that one. And moreover I have started Overkill Princess as mostly Patreon-only series. If you haven't read any of those yet, please do since they're available as part of the package. :-)

Please notice that Patreon-only content and/or novels that are released faster on Patreon such as D-Genesis will have their older releases, which haven't been released publicly, bundled in a Catchup-Tier starting with the next year. This is a measure to avoid eat-and-dash behavior which I personally consider unfair towards the longstanding supporters on Patreon.

For the next year I'm planning to include higher tiers for specific series. I've decided to limit it by series because some series make no sense to have even more previews due to lacking raw material or generally low interest. Depending on the survey results, less popular series might be replaced with other new series or an increased release rate on Patreon for existing series. So yeah, your opinion will have an impact on the future direction.

I'll try to stay as transparent about my decisions as possible, and will do my best to incorporate your wishes as far as feasible. :-)

I sincerely hope that you'll continue to enjoy my translations and participate with suggestions and comments whenever you see a need. It is you all who make this possible, after all.
