Sunday piano improvisation - no. 44 (belated)

Hey there, today I'm writing you from Portimão, Portugal, we arrived yesterday very late and had a veeery slow morning today, very needed. I'm honestly a bit overwhelmed with how many countries I traveled through within the last 48h, but I'm super happy to be here now :)

Yesterday morning I left my sisters place in Berlin around 8am, traveled by train to Prague & Brno, got out there and hung up some posters in the city for a gig I'm gonna play there on the 26th of September at MusicLab with Mojo August (great band! lots of fun, they're doing country-indie-blues-rock). If anyone's near by come round and say hi! :)

After that I jumped in the train again and traveled the rest of the way to Vienna. Initially I had also thought about going directly from Berlin to Lisbon, but I had to bring my harp back home - I only spent the night in Vienna, unpacked and re-packed, watered all the plants and left to the airport. My partner picked me up from Lisbon and we drove together to Algarve. And now I’m here haha, wow, what a ride.
I‘ll have a shoot here next week, which is the reason that I’m here, but I came a few days earlier to have some time with him before - still need a moment to fully arrive, but very happy to be here. :)

I actually listened to this piano piece yesterday morning when I was preparing to leave again, it calmed me down and reduced the pre-traveling stress I felt quite a lot - I recorded it last Thursday when I was still in Berlin, while my grandpa and sister were talking in the kitchen. Really miss my childhood piano, it just feels like home right away. I wanted to practice a bit for my concert in Falkensee (which went great!) and then felt inspired to record this, hope you enjoy it :)
