There is one Loss, one Balthazar and one crewmate. Bonus panels don't count.
You can already spot Sephiroth carrying Pokémon Trainer's Poké Balls in the first panel, as Daniel Myhre did!
Another loss for Trigger: the trees in the background of the first panel.
Yeah, Sephiroth's rope is barely even doing anything anymore, Generic Hero.
Oh Baltabuns can learn Surf, Spirit of Gotham! So he's good, he can leave the island in panel 1 whenever he wants.
Fuecoco is scared of the water in the first panel, since he's a fire type.
Sephiroth managed to snatch himself a Cylizar, so all three of them have lizard-mounts now! Only seemed logical to give him one, edmg7.
This week's crewmate is visible in the lamp of Sephiroth's Cyclizar saddle, as found by Cameron Devera.
Alolan Exeggutor once again makes an appearance: he's visible in the background of the second panel.
Squirtle brought a baseball bat to the battle, probably because he can't do much against a Dondozo as a water type. Quaxly is later seen using the bat, so I guess they have put aside their differences, Gianpaolo Reinares!
The gang tidied up and put the Christmas decorations in a box, only they forgot to put the box away, since it's still there in the final panel. Good catch, The Negotiator.
There's also a leftover champagne glass, as mentioned by Zach.
We can also spot the stain of the Hollow Knight Grub that was stepped on by Kazuya in the final panel. RIP.
The Mausholds have completely taken over the Smash House and there's a single Maushold being very dad-like, reading a newspaper on the couch, as pointed out by Lord Circe. The newspaper says "MAUSHOLD INFESTATION" by the way, as pointed out by Kristen Shields.
Yeah, I'll count it, CSDX. Initially Incineroar was going to be the main character in this comic but I thought it'd be nice to make Sephiroth show off his heart change.
I didn't expect anyone to recognize it, but the silhoutte outside of the Smash House is our obscure retro character this week. It's a robot called Thorn from a fighting game from the 90's called One Must Fall: 2097. I played that a lot at a friends house back in the day.
The details that have not been found are marked italic.
