Hi there! It's Sunday again - finally back to my normal schedule - and today I'm sharing some photography with you again! It’s the first picture of a set in collaboration with Curved Air Photography. It was taken a good, good while ago, back in May 2023 when I was traveling from Ireland via London back to Vienna. Sounds like a chaotic time - well, it was. I arrived in London at 3 am in the middle of the night and had to travel through the whole city to get to my hostel dorm bed, just to find another guy sleeping in there already when I arrived. He had mistaken the bed and I ended up sleeping a couple of hours in the bunk bed on top of him... In the early morning, almost everyone was already gone, one guy noticed that someone stole his shoes during the night and the one underneath me was a bit too happy to see me in the bed above him. While he was trying to touch me through the gap between bed frame and wall, I packed my things as fast as possible, kinda relieved that I slept with my backpack in my bed - at least I still had all my things. Unpleasant situation really. I got out of that hostel as quickly as I had gotten in just a few hours before, wandered a bit through this big, big city (quite a shock after spending the week before in cute Cork City) and then made my way to meet Alistair Redding, the photographer who I had agreed to meet in London for a creating some photos together.
So, that's me, almost two years ago, with 3-4 hours of sleep, sitting in his home studio, kinda still feeling like I had entered a different world after I had left that airplane. I honestly barely remember the day 'cause I was so dead tired, but we got along well and I actually really like the results - I just got them a few weeks ago, haha, Alistair really took his time, went through a tough year and I also wasn't stressing him, but trusting that I would eventually get the photos one day - and here they are :)
This is the story behind those pictures, we're also thinking about making some prints of one or the other, there are a quite a few more good ones. Once there are news on that I let you know of course :)
I hope you enjoyed this little story time - have a wonderful Sunday and a good week ahead of you! Spring is just around the corner here :)
All the best, xx PS: On another note - thank youuuuuu for the support on my Single in the past week! I already hit more than 1k streams and got so many lovely messages within these past days, really really happy about that.
