Link to the comic for your convenience

Please only comment with ONE hidden detail or reference!

There is ONE Loss, ONE Balthazar, ONE crewmate and NO JoJo reference. Bonus panels don't count.

1: The sign behind Sephiroth in the first panel says "Sephiroth's Secret Lairiroth + Awoofy". Looks like they did some decorating to give their Secret Lairiroth some cozy vibes, Zach.
2:
New? I'm not sure about new, Cameron Devera, but Sephiroth did hang up his sword in his secret lairiroth in the background of the first panel.
3:
After forgetting them last time (and people immediately pointing it out and thinking it was intentional), I made sure to include Sephiroth's Poké Balls in the first panel this time, Michael Ederer!
4:
Yet another appearance of Kazuya's purple/flame design wheelbarrow in the third panel, as pointed out by Lukas Wandler!
5:
This week's crewmate is visible in Hade's collar thing in the second panel. Good catch, Zanreo.
6:
If you zoom in on Hade's phone in the second panel, you can see Sephiroth is using an "unknown caller" ID. I don't know if he's being sneaky or Hades just doesn't have anyone saved either, FoxdocDylan.
7:
Hades saying "ta-tah" is taking directly from Kid Icarus Uprising dialogue.
8:
In the third and fifth panel, there's a little "ring for Hades" button in case you want to speak to the chief himself. Looks like it's in good working order, Erick_Martinez__.
9:
Hahaha, I feel called out, A Sad Fat Dragon with No Friends. But yes, I did include the Fire Emblem fighters in Shulk's vision because they are the main group giving me trouble coming up with an end to this arc.
10:
Thanks for finding the LocoRoco painting in the fourth panel, Trigger! We were talking about LocoRoco in the Discord so the little guys were on my mind while drawing this comic.
11:
Yes, Shulk reuses his mechanic disguise from the Captain Falcon comic, moustache and all. He just put a little sign over the Blue Falcon logo that says "Rewind Spring Maintenance (Legit)". Totally not conspicuous, Generic Hero.
12:
And this week's loss is visible in the Underworld ruins behind Shulk in the sixth panel, as noticed by Carlos Mendez!
13:
A few Monoeyes are passing by in the sixth panel behind Shulk, as they do in the Underworld. Still, good catch Tejayes.
14:
Yeah, I made sure the Smash version of Snake's box was used here because the "normal" one mentions "ORANGES", Jon Brouse. Wouldn't be very convincing.
15:
Shame no one noticed the Codec call frequency in the final two panels: 127.18. December 7th 2018 was Smash Ultimate's release date.
16:
Seems like Baby Mac is the new target for Samus' motherly instincts now, Lord Circe. He's sitting on her shoulders in the final two panels. And yes, he does get launched in the final panel, Daniel Myhre.
17:
Yes Jamie Cooper! He is hard to spot but Balthazar is indeed cheering along with the rest of the fighters in the final panel! He's right underneath the Inkling girl.
18:
The situation Snake is in reflects his games: he is indeed stuck in enemy territory with no weapons. Let's see if he can use his pack of cigarettes to find his way out, Nunya.Byznys.

Next week, I'll reveal all the details that haven't been found. These ones are written in italic.

Hidden Details: Tactical Espionage Action

Comments

Once again Snake is stuck weaponless in enemy territory and must sneak his way out.

Nunya.Byznys

"Tiny Mac" gets thrown when Samus celebrated.

Pokedude14

I appreciate the "unknown number" on Hades' phone, not sure if it's cause Seph is trying to stay off the grid or if Hades just can't be bothered to save anyone in his phone but either way it's great

Foxdoc

There is a ‘ring for hades’ button 😂

Erick_Martinez__

In shulk's flashforward, you can see that they were going to revive some of the Fire Emblem fighters. This is a reference to the fact that Plank has no idea what to do with all the Fire Emblem lore so they went with snake instead

A Sad Fat Dragon with No Friends

Samus is one of the persons awaiting snake because of her relationship.

Cherry

Is Balthazar celebrating with everybody else when Snake answers the codec?

Jamie Cooper

Hrrng

John Leonard

Since sephiroth is biggest villan in smash of course he would have connections to hades

Fighting Master

But for some reason the Falcon symbol underneath it is white now when it was yellow before. Maybe it faded

happy pasta

Snake’s cardboard box is specifically the one he uses in Smash Bros. instead of his box in Metal Gear Solid proper

Jon Brouse

Shulk is using the Monado to see into the future.

edmg7

You can see Monoeyes in the distance behind Shulk in Panel 6.2. They can probably see you, too, but have trouble determining distance.

Tejayes

Kazuyas Wheelbarrow has a Comeback in the third panel.

lawariano

The crewmate is on Hades belt thing in panel 2 next to the speech bubble that has him saying babe

TZR_Redstonemaniac

Sign in the first panel says "Sephiroth's Secret Lairiroth +Awoofy"

Zach

Thanks to Shulk's hat (from the comic where they revive Captain Falcon) we know his role as Rewind Spring Maintenance is 'Legit'.

Generic Hero

Ha! I love that Samus found a new kid to be a mommy to. Mom Energy Samus is too good to fade away, just because Palutena is back.

Lord Circe

Sephiroth still has the pokeballs he caught the legendaries in

Michael Ederer

Loss behind Shulk in the 6th panel

GhostElmo

Crewmate on Hades' clothes in panel 2

Zanreo

There's a LocoRoco frame hanged in the wall behind Shulk and Palutena

Trigger

Sephiroth’s new masamume on the first panel!

Cameron Devera
