Sunday piano demo - True Blue

Hello there, today I want to show you the most updated full demo of 'True blue' - the ones who follow me long and listen carefully enough might recognise this melody. Initially it was a Sunday improvisation somewhen in October last year. Then it showed up once more, because I started co-writing a song with Jamie Kierans during my last stay in Cork City, including this little piano theme. He happened to have a Chorus idea up his sleeve which just perfectly matched my piano motive - so we created a whole song around these two ideas! The music, chords and differents parts were composed quite fast, but the lyrics took us some time - that we're living in different countries didn't make it easier as well (throwbacks to covid-zoom-call-times included ^^). But we finally managed it this week! We also spontaneously created a bridge, during our last writing session - et voilà here it is!

I'm quite happy with how it turned out, even though I still have to get used to the new structure (don't mind my wiggly vocals in the bridge, it was recorded right after we finished it, haha). Also looking forward to recording this piece properly within the next weeks, for now it will be a quite minimalistic piano version, but maybe Jamie writes an orchestral arrangement for it still (he's great at that!)... let's see :))
