Please only comment with ONE hidden detail or reference!
There is ONE Loss, ONE Balthazar, ONE crewmate and NO JoJo reference. Bonus panels don't count.
Kazuya's red eye is turning one of the Captain Falcon helmet's eyes red. Not sure how this works but who cares, Jon Brouse.
Shulk is an actual mechanic, as pointed out by FoxdocDylan. So he'd probably do a fine job as actual part of the Blue Falcon crew.
The tracksuits worn by the crew are Blue Falcon-colored.
Piranha Plant has a matching Captain Falcon helmet. Like father, like son, Michael Ederer.
Even though he's cosplaying as Captain Falcon, Kazuya apparently refused to wear a shirt and is still topless. I did that on purpose to make it obvious it was Kazuya in a Captain Falcon costume so that readers wouldn't get confused.
The crate in which Donkey Kong is carrying Captain Falcon says "Caution! Fragile!" which is a big fat lie. Captain Falcon is not fragile, even when dead.
Putting a Balthazar keychain on the list of merch we should make but never have time for, Trigger! (There's a Balthazar keychain visible in the second panel)
Haha yeah, Kazuya moves his toe out of the way to avoid them from getting cut off by Shulk. Glad you took one for the team by mentioning the feet-related detail, Tejayes!
Shulk and Sonic are wearing fake moustaches to hide their identities to be able to compete in the F-Zero race even though they're not a real crew. Shulk's moustache indeed falls off in the third panel, VisionPlayer22. I forgot to draw his moustache in that panel so I just added it lying on the ground, lol.
Sonic is twitching out because of the overdose of espresso he has been fed, and he can't stop saying he needs to go fast in the third panel. Which is indeed his catchphrase, UnSaxon51.
He is also wearing the Bunny Hood from Ocarina of Time, which increases your running speed in Smash. And I don't know who Uncle Chuck is, Edgar Castro.
Sonic wearing the hood is also a reference to the fact that he can outrun the Big Blue cars in Smash. Correct, Evee Shadow Bacon!
Piranha Plant is pulling its leaf across its neck to taunt Samurai Goroh in the fourth panel. He's a gutsy little guy, Trey.
This week's loss is a bit wacky because it's not a square, but the yellow lights in the finish arch in the fifth panel do form a loss shape if you put them together. Cameron Devera found it this week!
The thrusters of the Blue Falcon never ignite, because they don't need to. It's indeed a fully Sonic-powered vehicle now, DHos!
Shulk is being very British in the sixth panel, exclaiming "bloody hell". This is of course a reference to his British voice (actor, Adam Howden).
This week's crewmate is (barely) visible in the crowd in the background of the sixth panel, as noticed by Dempsey Garcia!
Sonic ran the race so fast, he earned a shitton of points. So many that it doesn't even fit on the display in the background of the sixth panel. Good eyes, Zach.
Donkey Kong's tie says CF for Captain Falcon instead of his regular DK (Donkey Kong) tie. It's visible in the sixth panel, as pointed out by Miz Kriss.
Well not really, Zanreo. Plant is just squished against the back of the cockpit because of the insane speed, but I'll count it!
Captain Falcon uses his Falcon Knee to bust out of the trunk, which is a bit of a reference to the "the Knee is Free" memes. Good catch, Chj92.
The guy in the final panel is called Mr. Zero, apparently. He's an actual interviewer, reporter from F-Zero GX, as pointed out by Generic Hero.
Plant has, for some reason, removed his Captain Falcon helmet and put on Donkey Kong's Blue Falcon crew cap in the final panel. Sebastian L. pointed this out.
The final panel features a little cameo by previous intern Mink, current intern Elias and yours truly. Monet4Nakama mentioned me, so I'll count it.
Sonic totally crashed in the final panel, having expelled all his energy by running the race in a split-second. Good catch, Fighting Master.
Shame no one noticed this: in the final panel, Kazuya's scarf isn't billowing, but Captain Falcon's scarf is. He's just that heroic.
Next week, I'll reveal all the details that haven't been found. These ones are written in italic.
