Sunday piano meditation - no. 29

Good night everyone - I wish you a good start into the new week ahead of us!

I‘m super tired at the moment, just arrived home after attending an event here in Munich, so I will rest now. Last night has been super short as well because of my gig in Vienna… busy weekend - but super nice!

I will extend this post and tell you more about it tomorrow :) Sleep well for now!

PS: F# major for the first time today! I really don’t play in that key very often, but I enjoyed the sound of it - recorded this piece in the morning while still being in my flat in Vienna, right before I went to the train station.

PPS: This is the promised extension of this post - I'm back home in Vienna again! And I want to say again how much I liked the last week: It was full of music, recording, planning, booking, rehearsing, listening & playing. Also the show on Saturday was pretty much perfect! I played the opener with a friend of mine, which is in my opinion the most chilled job - you soundcheck last and play first, so afterwards you can just enjoy the other acts and dance as much as you want (still having a bit of muscle soreness^^). The other two bands are also just amazing (Butterbread & MaryJanesSoundgarden - check them out if you're into some funk!), lots of friends of mine are part of them and in general the whole atmosphere was just lovely. More of that please. Really looking forward to the next week - more gigs to come, more planning to do, and finally the sun is out again, hmm, I'm such a summer person, I am desperately in need of the warmth and the brighter days.
