I think Cloud may be an... issue. I'm imagining Tifa running up them, grabbing one of the other Smash fighters, and shouting, "Did he die in gameplay or a cutscene? GAMEPLAY OR A CUTSCENE?" And then Barret explaining that they've got spells or Phoenix Downs for gameplay deaths, but cutscene deaths... All the FFVII cast look at each other awkwardly, followed by the Smash fighters as they realize Cloud DID die in a cutscene.

this may be my bias favoritism speaking but I think Sonic was given all that coffee and the Monado not to increase his speed but rather his strength to actually get the car, Kazuya and Falcon along the track because yeah Falcon wouldn't of been able to just be carried along the track he had to be in his actual car. So that required a boost that of course our main hog was able to deliver and thus yeah finally bring back all the original cast. I have a feeling that the last quest is going to be the Fire Emblem characters (since again they would of done them with Pokemon/Legend Of Zelda/Metroid with all the other arcs) so hard to say who will be next in line. Hmmm since Falcon was saved after Sonic (which I think is cool) maybe next is someone that ties that would need Falcon's skill to help save though hard to see whose left who would fit that specific role.
