Hush my darling - how a song develops

Remember guitar song no. 5? This is how it's going! I recorded some guitar tracks for it, multiple vocals and - wrote a trumpet arrangement for the Bridge, really like it! :)

This is a short snippet of the second chorus, it will still get a little shaped, edited and mixed. I'm quite happy how the song turned out. It kept the soft, floaty energy which I wrote it with - I like that I was able to still preserve this atmosphere.

Is it interesting for you to see the development of a song? The first idea, the draft, the process of the lyrics, the full demo and then finally the recording? And to the ones who write themselves - do you usually write music or lyrics first? Would be curious to know!
