There is ONE Loss, ONE Balthazar, ONE crewmate and NO JoJo reference. Bonus panels don't count.

1: Duck and dog are reunited once again! And they're both very happy, as we can see in the first panel. Good catch, edmg7.
2: Palkia is still wearing the Santa hat from the previous comic, but it falls off in the second panel. Still, good catch Luke!
3: Sephiroth uses "hell" multiple times in his dialogue. That's not a coincidence, I put it there because of the theme of this comic.
4: I'm glad you noticed Cyrus in the third panel, A Sad Fat Dragon with No Friends! Apparently he's still chilling in the Distortion World.
5: Multiple little hidden jokes in the summoning circle that appears in the fourth panel. Among them is a crewmate. It's a... sussening circle, Zanreo.
6: And loss is there as well, as pointed out by Cameron Devera.
7: There's also a "cool S" in the sussening circle!
8: Balthazar takes the form of a bush/shrubbery this week, in the background of the fifth panel. Good eyes, Tejayes.
9: There's a little callback to the Not Even Doom Music comic (I think), when Sephiroth remembers Doom Slayer kicking his ass (and stuffing it with his wing). Correctly pointed out by Shelby Kinkead.
10: Sora is indeed distraught that his first and only Pokémon is being taken away by Sephiroth, Lord Circe. Hopefully he'll get him back one day.
11: Doom Slayer's text bubble/font is identical to the first comic he appeared in!
12: Yep, I added a little bit of dialogue and made Samus accidentally call Doom Slayer "Mr. Guy" because he was originally known as Doomguy. Found by John Leonard!
13: And finally, yes, Simon is happy to see Bayonetta is back (since they're a thing)... shame we now what happens in the next comic now huh, Trigger? Richter is (still) suspicious of those two, as pointed out by Erin.
