1: There's a grain effect in the comic until the E.M.M.I is defeated. This happens in the game too.
2: Haha yeah, the Micky Mouse emblem on the chain of the Keyblade is censored, Trigger. I'm not challenging the mouse.
3: Duck Hunt Dog is, once again, wagging his tail whenever someone is revived. He's a good boy, Erin.
4: Master Chief is teabagging (crouching on top of a defeated enemy) the destroyed E.M.M.I. in the third panel, as noticed by Trey first. Put 9-Volt In Smash Bros Please also noticed that Sora and Duck are looking at him in confusion. Who can blame them.
5: There's an E.M.M.I. door visible in the first panel, but it's closed because the E.M.M.I. is near and on high alert. Later, when the E.M.M.I. is defeated, the door opens again, just like in the game.
6: Sora is counting along with Samus who explains that Dark Samus is "half Metroid Prime, half Phazon, but also half Power Suit". I wanted to use Sora to counter people pointing out this obvious joke. Thanks for noticing, Carrick RaccoonBro Inabnett!
7: The Duck held Samus' Arm Cannon while she was reviving Dark Samus. He/she/they used it to obliterate a random enemy in the fourth panel. GelatoVerde was the first to point this out!
8: Sora raises his hand when he wants to ask a question. Sweet kid.
9: There's a toilet visible behind Sora and Master Chief in the fifth panel. ZDR is well-equipped, Tejayes.
10: Sora saying he thinks Dark Samus is a gnarly alien skeleton is a reference to Dark Samus' canon look. I hoped this would acknowledge the discrepancy between canon and these fan comics and that it would communicate that we shouldn't take these comics too seriously. But thanks for noticing, Shelby Kinkead!
11: There's a Balthazar sign in the background of the seventh panel, with an arrow pointing to the right. I haven't found this area in the game yet, Aris.
12: Correct edmg7! Sora is using his Gummi Phone from Kingdom Hearts 3! This was suggested by intern Mink :)
13: Bowser is shielding Bowser Jr.'s eyes in the final panel because Dark Samus looks a bit too lewd. And you're right A Sad Fat Dragon with No Friends, that is indeed a reference to the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls video!
14: Luke found this week's Loss first. It's in Master Chief's armor, but it's divided among his appearances in different panels! Can't make it too easy for you all now.
15: The grenade that gets thrown in the first panel is a Plasma Grenade from Halo. It sticks to enemies, and I seem to remember it does extra damage to robotic enemies, but upon further googling I can't seem to find confirmation of that. Anyway, it was a little Halo reference that was found by John Hattan.
16: Bowser Jr. has liked Sora's Instagram post, even though he's snitching to Samus. Good eye, Dominic Caruso!
17: I'll give you a point for this one, Jon Brouse, because I had noticed the similarity between this comic and the Castlevania comic as well. First few panels are nearly identical in theme and layout!
18: Sora's spacesuit still has his goofy Disney shoes from his Kingdom Hearts outfits. Glad you noticed that, FoxDocDylan!
19: This is one I hadn't even noticed myself, CSDX, because intern Mink does the colouring. But apparently he gave Dark Samus a mole that's on the opposite side of her face to balance out normal Samus. What a clever kid, that Mink.
20: And finally: Sora isn't the best speller, so he misspelled "dark" as "drak" in his Instagram post. Thanks for noticing that, Abdulaziz Alaryani!

2021-10-30 13:27:02 +0000 UTCHas no one noticed that the characters who speak all have spacesuits(excluding Samus and M.C. of course), but the Duck, Dog, and our Yoshi aren't wearing any spacesuit equipment? This is easier to see in Panel 7, since Yoshi's body is only slightly exposed behind Dark Samus's unequipped armor fragments, but the other panels with Yoshi would only have the head in frame.

Then again they (Wooden Plank Studios) will probably save that for last because it’s pretty obvious what Cloud will end up doing the moment he’s revived
