1: The flipover in the first panel showcases some plans Kazuya and Incineroar made on how to revive the Mushroom Kingdom characters. It indeed references past strategies on how to revive Yoshi and the likes, Put 9-Volt In Smash Bros Please. Also, it indeed confirms Mario and Dr. Mario are the same person in my continuity. Good catch, Carrick RaccoonBro Inabnett.
2: Piranha Plant has withered and started to rot. I hope I'm not shooting myself in the foot here since the rest of the dead characters are still fresh, but I wanted to reference how quickly plants wither after they die.
3: The seed that drops from Piranha Plant has the same red colour and white spots as the adult plant.
4: In the third panel, Kazuya is using soil to plant the Piranha Plant seed. Balthazar is visible as part of the soil's branding. Found by Luke first.
5: Kazuya's glasses have his trademark flame motif, just like basically any of his accessories and clothes. Good find, Tejayes.
6: Kazuya disposed the old Piranha Plant in the bin seen in the background. Glad you noticed, Cherry.
7: Kazuya has a cute little bonsai tree. Those things are apparently hard to take care of, so I put it there to reflect Kazuya's love for gardening.
8: Kazuya has a dart board on his wall. And he has put a picture of his hated dad on it. Glad you noticed, Cameron Devera.
9: Kazuya is carefully counting the drops and logging them in the fourth panel. Apparently raising a Piranha Plant is a complicated job, Daniel Myhre.
10: Yes Eli Hurtt and DustPride! I can't tell which one of you was first, but the music coming from the stereo in the fifth panel is indeed the original Mario theme! I copied the sheet music :)
11: In the same panel, one can notice Kazuya has a bear rug... and you're right John Hattan. It's probably poor old Kuma.
12: The book Kazuya is reading in that panel has the title "Baby Plants" on the cover. Good eye Zach, it's very tiny.
13: Just like Kazuya's glasses, his mug also has a flame motif.
14: Kazuya's slippers have the G Corp logo on them. Good catch, PLANTMAN. Always rep your brand.
15: To avoid copyright claims (in a comic about Nintendo characters lmao) I changed "Sony" on the stereo into "Nosy". Don't call any lawyers, Gavin Walker.
16: Yes Trigger! I put a little Ludwig on the cover of the "Beethoven for Plants" music CD because Ludwig is based on... well, Ludwig von Beethoven.
17: Wario's fake Incineroar-fur moustache comes off in the final panel. You're right Zanreo, he probably didn't attach it properly.
18: This week's loss was found by Dirtydan8991: it's in Kazuya's scars in the fourth panel.
19: I'll count it, Iron Collie. Greninja is visible in the background of the second panel. I just needed a random fighter but I might have chosen Greninja because I still consider it my main.
20: Right on the money Conner Kavanaugh! I couldn't find any confirmation for this, but I assumed that if you'd let a 1-Up Mushroom pass through a Piranha Plant in a Mario game, it wouldn't get a 1-Up. So I came up with this seperate comic for Piranha Plant's revival.

After one week, I'll reveal all the details that haven't been found. These ones are written in italic.
