Welcome to the sixtieth episode of the Hidden Details blog!
Have you found some obscure reference or detail in this comic? A JoJo reference? A sneaky little Loss? A callback to a previous comic? Let us know what you've found in the comments! Every detail that has been found will be added to the list below. Once everything has been found, this comic will officially be marked with "all details found".
The Patron who has found the most Hidden Details at the end of the year might win something nice... We still need to do the big reveal of 2019's winner, but it's happening very soon!
Please only comment with ONE hidden detail or reference!
There is NO JoJo reference, ONE Loss and ONE Balthazar. Bonus panels are not counted.
The hidden details in this week's comic were a bit hard to count because a lot of them are in a grey area between 'main topic' and 'hidden details', but I counted at least 22. If you mention one that's not in this list, there's a good chance I'll add it anyway. If not, I'll let you know so you can mention something else. There's plenty to go around this week.
1: There's a blue Bokoblin sleeping on one of the towers in the background and he's woken up by the bomb blast. Found by Zanreo.
2: Billy is wearing a little tooth on his necklace because he's not an adult Bokoblin yet (who wear skulls). Good catch, Put 9-Volt in Smash Bros Please
3: Hyrule Castle is visible in the background
4: Balthazar (RIP) is indeed steeling food in the Bokoblin cave 😭 Glad you noticed, Charles
5: Yep, Malo has expanded his franchise with Malo donuts, as seen in the second panel. Nicely found, Marwan Abunura.
6: And yes, the birds form loss over four panels. Correct, Luke.
7: Haha yeah, thanks for noticing Phloxiana. I tried to recreate the Breath of the Wild UI as close as I could with the 'Your Tree Branch broke!'
8: As a young lad, grandpa Bokoblin didn't have glasses and had a beautiful brown moustache. Found by John Hattan.
9: Link is almost nude. Not because he's speedrunning or anything, but to reference the sense of weakness and frailty in Breath of the Wild compared to Hyrule Warriors. I'll still count it though, Aust Sakura Kyzor.
After one week, I'll reveal all the details that haven't been found. These ones are written in italic.
