Tier changes

There are some (minor) changes coming to the tiers tomorrow.
Most importantly: we're retiring the $1 tier. The suggestion came from the folks at Patreon themselves and we agree with them. We're seeing a lot of "hit and run": people pledging one dollar, viewing a bonus panel, and canceling their pledge again. If you factor in taxes and stuff, we barely earn anything when people do this, so it's an incredibly ineffective tier. If we change it to $2, the Loss (hehe) isn't as severe.
What if I am a $1 Patron now?
You don't need to do anything! The current $1 tier will become a legacy tier and you'll continue to get the same awards you're getting now. It'll just be impossible for new Patrons to select the $1 tier, starting somewhere tomorrow.
That's it! So in short: you won't notice anything, and hopefully our revenue will increase a bit!
Semi-related: we keep reaching the $500 milestone and then dropping below it again, so I want to wait with celebrating until we're sure we actually reached it. Pretty sure that won't be long!
Also: we're still working on merchandise. We hit a bit of an obstacle but things are moving again. We're still going to reward your frantic searches for hidden details!
