2025-01-26 14:04:39 +0000 UTCa real tip on down payment for a house - if you put down 20% you avoid having to pay PMI mortgage insurance and end up saving enough money to make it worth it. a $600k house would be $120k. buying a house should be looked at as a real investment and returning equity. you're used to buying stuff that depreciates (legos, vehicles), which is different and putting any down payment amount over the bare minimum is pointless

Phone was unusable for a week. This last time I was working with my lender, they gave me warning. Said to go to this website to opt out. It REQUIRED MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER and the website looked completely shitty so I decided to deal with phone calls all over again. You’re from Canada I don’t think you can understand.

Oftentimes states have different programs where you have to put little to no money down to purchase your first home. And don't listen to these clowns dogging you for your financial prowess, it makes for amazing content.
