Hi! I hope you've enjoyed yet another shot of Zelda goodness this week. There will be one more Zelda comic next Wednesday. After that, the Endgame hype will kick in. So enjoy it while it lasts! Here are all the hidden details in this week's comic, Snapsheik.
The coolest part of this comic (in my opinion) was the fact that we actually created an Instagram and Twitter account for Link (@dodongobomber86). We posted some content on there that fits everything that's going on in this comic. I'll show you everything after revealing the details in the regular comic.
The title of this comic is a reference to "Snapstreak", the thing you get when you keep sending pictures to one another on Snapchat. It references the social media theme of this comic.

In the first panel, if you look at Link's Sheikah Slate, you can see he's Googling "Sidon lewds". Sidon is the handsome Zora prince that's apparently very sexy/friendly. I haven't properly met him yet, so I wouldn't know for sure, but I think the internet loves him and ships Sidon and Link.
Also, I changed Google to Groosegle, as a tribute to the best character of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword: Groose.

In the second panel, while Link is taking a selfie with the Old Man, the Korok (who has been at Link's side ever since the first comic), strikes a sexy pose, showing off his assets. People tend to do that when posting to Instagram. You can see the actual selfie below.

As I said, @dodongobomber86 is an actual account. This username is yet another reference to "Great! I can't wait to bomb some Dodongos!", a phrase Link says in the Cd-i Zelda games, and the year the first Zelda game was released: 1986.

The theme of this comic is, obviously, smartphones and social media. But in the fifth panel, I'm criticizing Apple in a very unsubtle way. The Sheikah Slate XS Max is obviously a parody of the iPhone XS Max. I copied the screen background Apple uses in the iPhone XS Max promotional posters:

And just like the iPhone, the Sheikah Slate XS Max even has a notch, if you look closely! "This changes everything. Again." is literally a slogan Apple uses to promote the iPhone. And I do think it's stupid how much Apple charges for devices that aren't all that different from their previous versions, which is why I put the "No new functionality, double the Rupees." line on the banner. You can see a bunch of Sheikah Slate XS Max boxes in one of Beedle's bags, by the way.

You can see Beedle with a whole pile of Rupees in the final panel, since Link had to pay a lot for his new Sheikah Slate XS Max.
And now! We're getting into the extra dimension of this comic! The social media accounts I made for Link. Let's start with his Twitter account: Twitter.com/dodongobomber86

You'll notice the HUGE header featuring a shirtless Link and a sexy Sidon right away, I think.
We also created a custom profile picture for Link's social media accounts:

His faithful Korok companion is, as usual, right by his side! If you look at the background of his profile picture, you'll notice Link is about to be obliterated by two Lynels.
This is his Twitter feed as of Tuesday:

I did my best to create a narrative that fit the three Breath of the Wild comics. Link wakes up, Tweets (just like a certain president), finds a Sheikah Slate, has a gruesome confrontation with a Lynel that prevents him from tweeting properly, wakes up again after yet another 100 years, reveals that he is aware of the Old Man's surprise party, tweets a picture about his new SheikahPods and then posts the selfie with the Old Man. You can check the previous comics if you want, but I'm pretty sure I nailed this.
Also, Link follows some interesting accounts on Twitter (NSFW):

Moving on to Link's Instagram account! Instagram.com/dodongobomber86
As is tradition while posting on Instagram, Link put some nice filters on his selfie and provided it with the proper hashtags:

On Instagram, Link follows a bunch of other accounts that might involve lewd Zelda or Sidon as well, but it's too much of a hassle to screenshot the whole list. You can check it out yourself on Instagram. Maybe you'll find some interesting accounts to follow among the list? Provided you're into sexy fish princes.
Lastly, there are a few hidden details in the bonus panel as well:

The Bokoblin who found Link's old Sheikah Slate is a Blue Bokoblin, because there are no Red Bokoblins in Master Mode! Which is what I'm playing, as you can read in the first comic. The background of this bonus panel is a blurred screenshot from the Bokoblin camp near the Temple of Time on the Great Plateau, by the way. I actually had to fight a Blue Bokoblin and a Golden Bokoblin to clear the camp and to be able to take a screenshot in peace. "Thought I looked cute in this pic, might delete later lol" is a very common comment Instagram girls tend to provide their selfies with, by the way. Also, there are some interesting hashtags going on in this picture as well.
And that's it! It's kinda hard keeping track of all the details when the stuff you've drawn has been fragmented between different channels, but I think I got it all. Hope you've enjoyed this multi-dimensional comic!
See you all next week! Have a great weekend!
