2024-11-29 05:05:24 +0000 UTCThe Democratic party has done nothing to limit the power of the executive, overturn citizens united, reinstate the voting rights act, get rid of the electoral college, or end gerrymandering. All of these work together to undermine democracy and ensure overrepresentation of minority rule. These systemic issues in our government benefit both parties who wish to maintain power, but limit the people's influence in government. Sigh.
