Zaifyr - Mid august update

TLRD; New story just dropped for patreons and valhalla b2 will start coming out in a couple weeks!

Hey everyone, I just wanted to try something a little bit new and update everyone on my general plans going forward. I'll try to do this monthly if possible.

So, in August, a couple of things are changing. The Escaping Valhalla Book One is just about over. We have an epilogue tomorrow, and then I'm going to be pausing it for a couple of weeks while I work on Valhalla Book Two.

Recently, I've been trying a slightly different method for writing, which has helped me a lot, but I'm still working out the kinks for it. Hence the reason for the break.

Instead of doing what I did for Roomba and writing one chapter at a time, I'm sitting down, outlining, and then writing the entire book in one go. It's really helped my output, as I can write at a quicker pace without having some weird mental hangups from writing one chapter at a time and getting feedback on that. Getting feedback on the whole thing at once is much more efficient.

However, one benefit is that it lets me write, hopefully, multiple stories at the same time. It's really hard to context switch each day from Story A to Story B, but if I write one full book and then move on to a different story, I can both be very efficient and, hopefully, avoid burning out. As only writing one story has it own challenges

While Valhalla Book One has been running I wrote a different book one for a different story—something I teased in my last update as being my own take on System Apocalypse. I'm still working on editing it, but I'm almost done, and I have the first nine chapters—available now. There should be a link somewhere below. This is for patrons only. The free version will be up on RR soon.

I'm going to post those at a regular cadence as I get them edited. I'm currently working on setting up Valhalla Two's plot and everything like that. I appreciate all the support I've gotten for it, and I apologize for leaving you on the cliff with just a small epilogue for resolution for the next couple of weeks. I hope you all enjoy the new story, and I hope the wait is worth it.
