Instead, she's more of a... the number ONE fan of a certain cool bassist ;) (And also of a band!)
My idea was, that after Tai and Raven split up, Yang stayed with her mom, though she was still spending a lot of time together with Ruby on trips, or at Tai's home. Even though they were living in different cities and went to different schools etc, they developed true family relationship and so when Ruby decided to form a band with her friends, Yang was the first person to learn about it :) Ruby even tried to recruit her sister to the band, but Yang was following other dreams, so instead she became the biggest support for the band both in moments of success and failure :) And then she started Blake's fanclub!
The picture shows the excitement Yang would ALWAYS feel seeing Blake rocking on a bass :D
