You could make up your own rules â choose healthy options at fast food chains OR hit up healthy food chains. Or you could try to adhere to a specific diet (PALEO, vegan, gluten-free, whatevs) while dining at regular chains. I know you harbor some resentment toward the podcast for forcing you to eat unhealthy so often -- this could be a good way to turn it around, maybe inspire some listeners. You could even turn this into a yearly tradition.

It's great for me, but I wonder if it's weird for those who don't keep kosher to order meat breakfast sandwiches and find they're vegetarian. Have you ever been to one of these elusive kosher Dunkins, Emma, Yusong or Mitch? Would you ever want to try it?

It seems their corporate owners decided that Carls Jr's bad-boy image doesn't work as well for the more down home Hardee's, so as of about a year ago they really aren't the same restaurant anymore. Thoughts? Are we going to see a Hardee's review at some point?

At our local fudruckers they would calm your name out over a loud speaker to indicate your order was ready. My parents thought it was super funny to use nicknames for âour nameâ. What are the best and worst option for a chain restaurant's version of a food item to be someone's favorite dish? McDonald's fries are top tier, but there has to be a scenario where someone's only experience with wings is through Domino's or Pizza Hut and, through no fault of their own and a love of buffalo sauce, that person thinks they are amazing.

The two that come to mind for me were Arby's did a 5 for $5.95 10-12 years ago and the recent Taco Bell meal deals... Arby's you could pick any 5 from: roast beef, drink, fries, turnover desserts, shake, onion rings... you could double up too! I would get 2 roast beef, drink, fries, turnover for $6! Taco Bell deals were: one item (5 layer burro, grande soft taco, something I forgot), a drink, and a bag of doritos! Just curious if there are any deals that were your go-to that seem to have gone away.

I can't help but think that's only going to make them worse representations. On the flip side, there are gas station food spots that stand out as being quality. Because of what we had in the fridge the other morning our breakfast was grilled salmon with stir-fried asparagus and mizuna and it was totally satisfying. (ie. McDonald's Big Mac & Taco Bell's Crunchwrap Supreme). You don't have to use all the ingredients from each item to combine them, just what distinguishes it.

Every thanksgiving my family partakes in a tradition of building our own "double downs", the KFC sandwich that substitutes bread with chicken tenders, and then has some combo of cheese, mashed potatoes and I think bacon on the inside. We use deep fried turkey for the "bread," and then fill it with gravy, potatoes, cheese and some other type of meat or stuffing. My question for you: Do you have any fast food favorites that you try to replicate in your own kitchen?
