In the recent live episode, Carl Tart makes a joke about being scolded for swearing in Waffle House. Thinking back on years ago, the only time I've ever eaten at Waffle House, I think, if the vibe is the same, I actually might keep my customary overuse of profanity more in check. Have you visited any chains where you found yourself adjusting your behavior to some perceived implicit guidelines? Have you ever realized after the fact that you didn't know and abide the unspoken rules of an establishment?

Have either of you heard of the Nebraska based fast food chain called Runza? I know it’s crazy to think that a state with such a tiny population has its own fast food chain, but it does. A runza is an Eastern European bread pocket sandwich stuffed with meat, cabbage, onions, and sometimes cheese. While it may not sound great from that description, it’s actually incredibly delicious. Hi guys! I was at your late night Chicago show and wanted so badly to ask this question but didn’t make it up to the microphone quick enough! So here’s my question! As a kid, my first memory of anything related to fast food was of attending a fellow preschool classmate’s McDonald’s birthday party! Where do you stand on topping placement on burgers and pizza? I can't stand when places put the pepperoni under the cheese; it can't get crispy under there! And it seems like putting the lettuce/tomato under the burger has become the standard. They're called toppings for a reason.

Hey all, one thing I noticed when I visited America (I live in Australia) was that most fast food chain restaurants over there market based on value for dollar. In Australia there is this, but much more is based on quality of ingredients and ability to do their own versions of healthier and trendier products - McDonald's in particular runs that kind of campaign here . Please tell me who you think was in the right here: One time I was out for a meal with a group of friends, and I couldn't finish my dish, so when the waiter came by towards the end of the meal, I asked him to pack it to go for me. One of my friends called me selfish because I didn't offer my plate to the rest of the group before I asked for it to be packed up! I had no idea someone would find that rude of me, especially since everyone had their own dishes and no one seemed interested in mine throughout the meal! Haggis is well known as the national dish of Scotland but we're a huge nation of curry lovers too, with curry having become the unofficial national dish many moons ago. Many Indian restaurateurs and take-away owners have combined these two foods to create a Scottish take on a classic Indian snack to create haggis Pakora - essentially spiced haggis fritters. Hey guys, Madi Miller here. I was on a work trip and stopped at Del taco drive thru after a big long meeting and I was starving. As I pulled up to the window to get my food, I saw that the gals working inside were struggling with what I though was a bee that had flown in through the take out window. One of them trapped the bee (which turned out to be a large fly) on the window facing me and continued to squash it quite dramatically while I watched the whole damn thing. Are there any foods you love when prepared a specific way, yet hate an alternative preparation? One of the biggest positives of chain restaurants is the ease and accessibility of eating there. That being said, there's a restaurant near me with great food, but eating there is a massive inconvenience. There's always a line, they don't do reservations or takeout, no tables that accommodate more than 4 and they only take cash and won't even split your bill. The food is good but eating there is such a chore at a certain point it's not even worth it. When choosing a place to eat what the bigger factor in your decision of where to go, goof quality or overall convenience?

Apologies for reposting this question from the last open Feedbag. Just seeing if rolling the die again will get a shoutout. Anyway, If the doughboys became a Saturday morning cartoon, what would it’s plot/format be? Any merchandise or cereal tie-ins? I imagine something like the podcast crew having to combine into a Voltron made of fast-food to fight villains like Bug Mane or The Rumblies. Any thoughts?

What is something you do that you think is completely normal but then you find out later is really weird? I.E. I always dump out my cereal milk after I'm done eating the cereal. But apparently if you do that in front of people they act like you murdered two sweet baby kittens.

Where do you stand on topping placement on burgers and pizza? I can't stand when places put the pepperoni under the cheese; it can't get crispy under there! And it seems like putting the lettuce/tomato under the burger has become the standard. They're called toppings for a reason.
