Found out the hard way that dried apricots have so much fiber and sugar in them that I spent the majority of the 6 hour flight in the bathroom with what I'll call a case of the "extreme rumblies." And that's putting it delicately. So my question is, what are your suggestions for the best, easiest, healthy snacks to bring on a flight? Keep on keeping, Dough Uncles. -Miriam

For example, all you can eat apps at Friday’s or half price apps and drinks, plus the one dollar special drinks at Applebee’s. This leads to the question, what is your favorite chain to drink/ actually just hang out at? Or the more interesting question: is this even an acceptable thing to once you’re past the stage of college budgeting but have not entered that retirement/ not giving a fuck stage?

Bagel, biscuit, English muffin, toast, croissant, McGriddle? I think bagels are the most filling/substantial but the hardest to eat, the toughness often causes the filling to shoot out. I’m team biscuit for sure.

One of my favorite things about going to chain resteraunts is the prospect of cheap alcoholic bevs. Some of my favorites being the texas Roadhouse margaritas with the sugar rim and the strawberry Dollaritas from applebees. I've seen this a lot in the chip category, where I once tried some Doritos that tasted surprisingly like a cheeseburger. I also had a really tasty bag of chicken and waffle flavored Lay's. On the Chili's episode, I recall Mitch was weirded out by how much the Dr. Pepper ribs tasted like Dr. Pepper. What are your thoughts on eating at the beach? Personally, I love the beach and I love to eat, so I find it a natural pairing. Others complain it’s too hot and sand gets everything ruining the meal and the beach day. There’s also a middle ground for some who enjoy snacks at the beach but never a meal. People always complain that the Oscar's award pretentious movies that nobody sees, but is there anything wrong with that? Many of the most popular artists that our world has known died penny-less and forgotten until their work was lauded years later (Van Gogh, Rembrandt, etc.). I feel that this new category will just rocket us quicker towards the world of Ready Player One where we can only indulge in pop culture or nostalgic shlock (such as movies like Ready Player One) because now they will be raking in box office earnings as well as superficial awards.

I think that it’s weird that they call a sandwich made on French toast a McGriddle when the McGriddle is a sandwich defined by its bun/bread—or whatever that pancake substance is. If it’s french toast, it’s not a McGriddle. She says that since it’s made on a griddle at McDonalds, it’s a McGriddle.

Not only are they the same shape, but if either are out at a party, I'll eat too many and get a tummy ache. I began comparing other nuts to seafoods. You will undoubtedly agree that pistachios are the mussels of nuts. I also believe that macadamia nuts are the scallops of nuts, in both appearance and how fancy they are. Will you please pair the other nuts (pea, hazel, wal, etc.) to their seafood counterparts?

My standard order now is a Double Double Armen Weitzman style with no lettuce or tomato. I've always felt the lettuce and tomato make everything slide around and mask the taste of the cheese and meat. I know you love a Hot Salad, Nick, but what are your thoughts on the merit of veggies in a burger? In the abstract, of course, not necessarily just In-N-Out.
