After last week's TGI Friday's episode I recalled that there is one across the street from the hotel I've stayed at in Colombo, Sri Lanka for work a couple times but I've never had any desire to go inside even though I was there for two weeks for work. Do you ever get homesick for food/restaurants when traveling? When I lived in London for a semester I did break down and go to Taco Bell however. It was the closest thing to Mexican food for 3500+ miles back in 1989.

Hi guys, So I was thinking about the cupcakes are pies argument and it’s insane, but it gave me an idea for a great bit. It kind of reminds of the scene in Jurassic Park where Dr. Grant is explaining to the shitty kid about dinosaurs having more in common with birds than reptiles. Hi boys, When I eat at restaurants with my family, at least one person at the table will inevitably express jealousy of what somebody else has ordered or will regret not having ordered that item themselves, usually saying something like "Oh, I was thinking of getting that, and I should have!" The grass is always greener, I guess, but I rarely get "food envy" myself and always just try to enjoy what I've chosen. What about you guys? How badly does it affect you when someone else at your table has ordered something that either looks or tastes better than what you've gotten for yourself?

A couple of basketball questions for the boys’: Mitch, now that we know Terry Rozier is as good as he is and the C’s have made the run they have down their two big money stars, is Kylie Irving expendable if the price is right, say Kawahi Leonard or Karl Anthony Towns if they become available in trades? How about Gordon Hayward given the ride of Jayson Tatum? Personally, I don’t think either should be dealt but given Kyrie’s injury history and the aforementioned talent already on the roster, I felt it would be good to get a Celtics fans’ opinion. Wiger, similar question: the Laker’s have the makings of a good young core but recent news from the front office (sorry no citation) makes it seem like no player is safe. If you have to give up anyone, let’s say again for Leonard or Towns, who is first to go?

This location had a small side room of arcade games and we would spend the majority of our time in there. Hello Doughboys! I recently had a discussion with a friend on what constitutes a "chain of restaurants" from "Capital-C Chain Restaurants." One of my favorite places to eat growing up was a small chain in CT called Duchess. He argued that because there were only about a dozen restaurants spread across just 2 counties, it didn't deserve the title of "Chain Restaurant" like others that cross state borders. I want to preface this by saying I loved my Nana. She was great and sweet and fun. However, when I was about 10 she drove through the Hardees drive thru the wrong way and then Complained to the workers that their window was on the wrong side. I work in a hospital at a job where there is regularly a need to wear protective gear so that I don’t come in contact with patients infected blood or tissue which might cause me harm... Sometimes I witness coworkers bringing food or drink into areas that I would consider it gross or unsanitary to eat or drink anything. ( ex. Do you have any "food rules" when eating out? For example, whenever I get an appetizer that comes with some sort of dipping sauce, (wings, mozzarella sticks, etc.) I always eat the first bite with no sauce.

Growing up we only went to certain restaurants once because my mom essentially had a "one strike and you're out" policy. If the food, service, or over all value wasn't ideal, we probably wouldn't be going back. I was wondering if you give a restaurant a second chance after a bad experience? Do you value one category above the others i.e. letting bad service slide if the food is amazing? Thanks!

Many people think that Italy is a Mecca for the best coffee in the world. I think with the rise of new hipster shops and what they term as 3rd wave coffee, Coffee in America is at its best and even though I live in Dallas, LA is a Mecca of good coffee including Go Get Em Tiger, Portola, Blue Bottle, and Intelligentsia to name a few.
