POTM WIP: Laxus

whew.... ngl.... have NOT had an easy time w/ this one.... earlier in the month i had made a different scene setup w/ 3D models and everything and i thought w/ all the base work i had in place it would be smooth sailing for a bit.... until i started realizing i couldn't get the pose for laxus to work like i thought i would in it no matter what i tried.... and i was ramming my head into a wall trying to make it work for several days, with poor sleep and disgusting australian summer heat and getting frustrated to no end and i was almost panicking to be honest π
so as of about 2 days ago i restarted it all from scratch. which was not easy to accept. but i managed to pull something out! and hey!!!! in terms of background composition i actually find this one much more visually appealing - the original idea that wasn't working out was just brown wooden tavern tables and brown wooden panel flooring with not much contrast (sometimes i try too hard with the exhibitionist scenarios...) i take no pleasure in how i'll likely have to crunch a bit more now since the first idea didn't work, but i do what i must since i don't wanna accept giving y'all something not up to my standards~ i hope y'all look forward to it!
