My Covenant - The Vicious Vampire Queen: Chapter 2

Amazing! So I do have something resembling a system, but to put it more accurately, this is like a copy of my soul. Showing what I’m capable of and my current status in this world. It really pains me to see the question mark for my name because some garbage father refused to name me.

I guess with my current appearance, being a vampire makes a lot of sense. To be called the progenitor vampire, though, must mean vampires have never existed in this world. Now I understand the struggle I’m going to have in the future. Please, let me be a day walker!

Ultra Regeneration makes sense for my insanely fast healing ability that I just experienced. Also, those heightened senses are helping me out a great deal as I’m able to notice those same men coming back for me. I wonder if I was given such amazing healing because of what I will face in the future.

Suddenly I heard the wood start to buckle as footsteps started coming in my direction.

Did they possibly hear my movement, or could one of those assassins also have a good sensing ability? As my body got into a stance to confront the four men as my door slowly opened, I couldn’t help but have this overwhelming thirst start to invade my mind.

A hunger that I’ve never experienced in either of my two lives, and it felt as if it could never be quenched. I licked around with my tongue on the upper row of teeth, and sure enough, there were two very sharp fangs protruding out.

Where is super strength or some kind of unique ability? I couldn’t help but feel wronged not having any cool offensive power. I have an immortal body, so no matter how strong these four are, I should be able to overwhelm them eventually.

At that time I came to a realization: why does my heart still beat? In my current circumstances I should have a heightened heartbeat, but I’m so calm. I felt more anticipation than anything else at having an opportunity to quench this thirst.

After the four men reentered the room and saw my small frame standing there completely unbothered with blood all over me. If I didn’t know any better, I could swear I felt the fear they were feeling looking at my appearance.

“What the hell is that thing?” One of the masked men exclaimed.

“Is she some kind of demon?”

“No matter what she is, we were ordered to kill her. So just get the job done.” A monotone voice came from the closest assassin approaching me.

“Haha, you smell so good.” I couldn’t help but let out a small giggle about what was going to happen. Seeing my soul book and becoming a literal immortal, I had no fear of facing these men.

“This little cunt is insane.”

“Just kill her!”

They once again pulled out their short swords. All of them at once brought them down on my current location. I was hit much faster than I had anticipated, feeling all four of their blades once again pierce my skin from all sides.

I watch on as their eyes of confidence started to falter at the fact I had almost no reaction to their attacks. One of them stumbled back in shock, leaving their blade impaled into my side as I grabbed onto another. Dark crimson blood was flowing out of my severely cut hands as I yanked on the blade, pulling one of them into my loving embrace.

My body shot forward faster than I’ve ever moved as I jumped onto his back, putting my arms around his neck. I quickly yanked off his mask and sunk my fangs into his now bare neck as fast as I could. All of this took only a matter of a few seconds.

Feeling my fangs impact his neck, I wiggled furiously, making an even bigger gash in his neck. The glorious treat of bright red blood flowed into my mouth and down my gullet. I felt my whole body become invigorated with delight as if I was on the high of my life.

Stories with vampires always talked about the first time you consumed blood; it would be your baptism for actually becoming the real thing. To think it would taste and feel this good.

After sucking the life out of the first man, which really didn’t take too long, he dropped down to the ground unmoving as I landed on his back. Without even a chance to catch my breath, I felt two swords treat my back as a practice dummy as they kept slicing and piercing.

“Do you think she’s finally dead?” The two men observe my unmoving body after they shredded my back and internal organs.

“She has to be right, right? This bitch is crazy. Is she some kind of immortal demon?”

“Who knows? Let’s get out of here before someone finds us.” The three remaining assassins leave the room. The one who had his blade impaled into my side retrieved the blade before leaving. Bad move is the only thing I could think as I waited to pounce.

After I felt the blade leave my side, I flipped over and threw myself at him. I bite with all my might on the calf of his leg, receiving multiple stabbings to my shoulder and side. I relentlessly ravaged his leg with my diamond-like sharpness fangs. After some struggle, the man finally got tired and fell to the floor.

I got up and looked with my ferocious appearance. The smells of ammonia in the air as the man’s pants were currently wet with a liquid other than blood.

“Disgusting,” I said as I looked at the assassin, who had fear in his eyes as he started to plead for his life.

My mind was already made up the second they tried to skewer my body. It was probably also my vampiric nature that couldn’t see these men as anything but food. I didn’t even have to feel any guilt with taking their lives. They were obviously bad people.

“Die” Without wasting any time; I gave him the same treatment as his cohort. After I watched the life drain out of his eyes, I checked around the room, but the other two were gone. I wonder what happened to my soul book if I had a few kills.

Name: ???

Race: Progenitor Vampire

Gender: Female

Age: 10

Passive Skills: Ultra Regeneration, Heightened Senses, Super Strength

Rank: Commoner (8%)

Nice! I gained super strength, and the percentage went up. Could it be that I will acquire skills as I need them in the future? It’s a possibility that I already have a lot of abilities, but they just need to be unlocked by performing certain actions.

“Ninth princess, are you alright?”

As I was deep in thought about my current soul book, my maids entered the room. What followed was all of them screaming bloody murder, looking at my blood-soaked appearance as two dead men lay at my feet. All of them ran out of my room like a bat out of hell. I saw no real point in following them as I was the victim here.

Looking around the room, it was a literal bloody mess. The walls, floor, ceiling, my person, and just about everything in my room were drenched. Pools of blood lay at my bare feet as there was nowhere I could stand without getting covered.

From the hall I could hear many stomping feet and clanging metal as the sound kept approaching. I can only hope they believe me, but I’m a ten-year-old girl. Can they even believe I overpowered these men? They will probably label me a witch. My pessimistic side was growing more and more concerned as the sound got louder.

Maybe going out to meet them would be a better option than standing in all this blood and two dead bodies. As I turned into the hallway, I saw many knights approaching. Everyone stopped instantly as I made my way outside the room.

Besides the knights, I saw many men and women dressed up in elegant clothing. One of them was even wearing a crown. Is this seriously the way I’m going to meet the person who was my sperm donor? That man could never be considered anything more than that.

All the knights in unison yell, “A demon!” The most forward knight charged at me, and once again, for the probably hundredth time, a blade impacted my tiny frame. Fuck my life! If I weren’t immortal, how in the world would I survive this world? Even the people who should be on my side treat me as target practice.

As I looked at the man, the first words that came to mind were, “You bastard!” I couldn’t help but feel extremely wronged by the current situation. He didn’t even ask any questions and just went for the kill. “Shouldn’t you at least find out what happened before you impale the ninth princess with your sword?”

“The ninth princess…” He had a dumbfounded look on his face as if no one even knew of my existence.

“The vile creature is the ninth princess?” A well-dressed girl who could possibly be one of my sisters commented.

“It’s better off to just kill it; no one wants it here anyway.” Said a man standing right next to the one I assume to be the king.

“Isn’t she the one who was born from that maid?” Someone else commented in the now big crowd.

“The commander of the knights just put that child out of her misery.” This comment came from the man with the crown. What the actual fuck is going on? Did these people know this was going to happen? Also, why is everyone so dressed up? Were they all just enjoying themselves at a party while I experienced attempted murder?

Looking on at the scene, I couldn’t help but feel this overwhelming amount of hate start to bubble up inside. This so-called commander of the knights still has his sword stuck into my midsection. I made a quick movement while his attention was focused behind him. I yank the hilt of the sword towards my direction, causing him to stumble forward.

As he fell to his knees, I lunged straight for his throat, ripping at his neck with savagery. My gaze lingered on all the people watching as the commander of their precious knight’s fell. No one even moved for this poor commander as they all stood there in shock at my actions. After taking my fill, I took a massive bite at his jugular, pulling it out in one fluid motion.

They all look at me in disgust; it’s time to leave this horrible place. To think I was actually living peacefully for the past ten years. Just which one of these people was the one to call assassins into my room? Does it really even matter though? They're all evil nobles; I should have known better with all the stories I read in the past. Are nobles ever someone you can feel safe around?

“Kill her!” The king roared as all the knights in the hallway charged my location.

I did the only thing I could think of and jumped out the two-story window that was right next to me. As I soared through the air, falling onto the first-floor roof, I stumbled on top of the shingles, losing my center of gravity and plummeting ten feet to the ground face first.

Thankfully, I’m a vampire with amazing healing, so it was nothing, but it allowed the knights in the courtyard to rush to my location.

“Kill her!” A man’s voice shouted from the window.

There were over one hundred knights now encircling my location. I had absolutely no chance to get out of this terrible situation. To be at the mercy of these types of people is so demoralizing. Once again I became a pincushion as multiple swords pierce my body.

As I struggled to move, I looked up to see the crowd of people who were in the hallway earlier approach my location. A lot of smirks were plastered across their faces.

“Stop!” The king yelled. “Maybe it might be better to research what she is than to just kill her. It’s beyond imagination to find someone with the ability of immortality. Get me the Pope and the Saintess!

Hearing the Pope and Saintess being brought up, I could only assume my future was going to get even more painful. Who is always the villain in any story, if it isn’t royalty? I couldn’t help but give out a heavy sigh as the pressure of all the blood bore down upon my body.
