Celestia

As I was contemplating today’s events, I felt Rhea’s body shift as she grabbed my hand and kissed it. I see her transformation has been completed, and it’s also increased her boldness. I couldn’t help but smile at what the future holds as I took in the moist and soft sensation on my hand. The connection I felt with Rhea was so deep, and the vibe coming from her was almost too overwhelming. Not that I’m complaining.

“Hieko, let’s stop somewhere for a bit with Rhea finally waking up.” I suggested it to the fox that was happily sprinting through the trees.

‘No problem, master; there is a cave up ahead.’

Before we enter, Hieko becomes small once again as Rhea and I both jump off her back. Hieko suddenly jumps into my arms, as if expecting some kind of reward or something.

I press my lips against her head, giving her a quick peck on her soft, fluffy fur. “Great job, Hieko, getting us out of that situation.” Hieko gave off a small purr as she tilted her head up to lick my face.

Looking up in Rhea’s direction, she had a very conflicted, almost scary-looking face. With her personality type, she probably either feels betrayed or jealous. I have to take care of this quickly!

As I sit down on a rock, I place Hieko on my side and wave for Rhea to come. “Come here, Rhea; I’m pretty sure I know what you want.” I said with a mischievous grin as I opened my arms wide to her. Nothing could hold me back from receiving her affection, given how amazing she now looks with her transformation.

Rhea’s face instantly turned excited as she shot towards me like a cannonball. Right before she impacted my body, I caught a glimpse of her face, which looked terrified. She’s obviously not used to her new body yet, and she probably pushed off the ground with way too much force. Rhea crashed into my midsection as if trying to spear me straight through, and we both fell to the other side. Her grip around my body tightens as she somehow shifts herself in midair, one hundred and eighty degrees. I land comfortably right on top of Rhea’s very soft body.

“I’m so sorry, Celestia. I almost hurt you.” She said this while her apologetic face looked as cute as ever. 

“It’s alright, Rhea. How does your body feel?” I start poking her cheek to try and lighten the mood.

“Umm… I feel so powerful that it’s scary.” She said it with a glimmer in her eye. Rhea’s eyes radiate far more than before. They shine and sparkle, just like stars in the night sky.

“Wouldn’t that be good? Your body has also been modified quite a bit.” Rhea went from being cute to a stunning beauty. “You see, vampires are predatory hunters, and how we hunt is with our looks. So you went from being adorably cute to wow, she’s amazingly beautiful!” I said it with a grin.

“Are you being serious? I’ve always felt my looks were subpar to everyone else.” She tilted her head to the side, no longer looking up at me. Rhea made no attempt to remove me from my current position on top of her.

“Awakening into a vampire had the same effect on me. It aged my body multiple years and also caused me to gain five inches in height. I’m pretty sure the vampire transformation is bringing the body to its most optimal state. This for most people would be right after puberty, probably? So how does it feel to go from twelve years old to eighteen in the matter of a few hours?” I said this while laying my head on her chest as I wrapped my arms around her. There's a good chance Rhea is actually older than me if you add up all her lifetimes. Having a body more towards her mental age, I'm sure, makes her feel a lot better.

“U-umm…” Rhea couldn’t even come up with a response as her face went beet red. This is an obvious sign that she’s probably really enjoying it, but she doesn’t know how to respond. 

“Don’t worry, Rhea, your awkward self is still really cute.” I say with a laugh, “But your body seems to have taken on some attributes of my own.”

“Is that for real?” She turned her head back, looking straight into my eyes.

“Yeah, your hair is now a brighter pink than before, with half of it turning white. You also grew up quite well, with your height almost matching my own. Your face also got sharper. Your eyes have gotten a lot more unique, with a pink glow to them. I’m sure most people would be very nervous to approach you now.” I brought my face up to Rhea's, who was blushing fiercely from ear to ear. “Dodge, if you don’t want it.”

I lean toward Rhea’s face as her eyes widen in surprise. I chuckle to myself as my lips impact hers. Because she was still so inexperienced and this was also my first kiss, I wasn’t planning on doing anything too aggressive. I just want to show her my sincerity. The wet, moist feeling of her lips on mine was such a great sensation.

The shock of having my first kiss went throughout my body as a feeling of euphoria was prevalent. After about ten seconds of keeping my lips pressed against hers, I open my mouth and lick her lips a few times, pulling back. As I look down at Rhea, who has this face of complete surrender, as if trying to invite me to go even further,.

I chuckle. "Well, it looks like you enjoyed that.” My feelings were also mutual, but I don’t want to go too far too soon. We still have our whole lives together to explore each other.

“I loved it!” She said it with hot eyes as her hands wrapped around my head, pulling me in for another kiss. Wow, this girl sure has changed so much in such a short time. I guess people would also think the same about me if they were actually paying attention.

After about ten minutes of kissing each other with some light tongue play, she finally had her fill and halted her aggression. The only thought that came to mind was that I picked the right girl. She was almost too perfect for me, as if someone had set this up in advance.

“I’m so sorry, Celestia. I don’t know what came over me. I just couldn’t even control my own movements, and my body took over. Please don’t hate me.” She looks so nervous that I would actually dislike her actions.

“What are you even saying, Rhea? Why would I ever hate you for showing your feelings towards me? Don’t ever hold back the way you feel; I would take offense to that. Please just be you, and that’s all I want.” Leaning down, I kiss her on the cheek and lift my body off her. “Rhea, I understand that you've lacked affection all your life, but I’m also the same.” I held out my hand to lift Rhea off the ground.

“You were also the same?” Rhea asks in utter bewilderment, as if I just said something stupid. “But you’re so amazing and beautiful; how could people not love you?”

“Well, that might be the case now, but I didn’t always look this way. Prior to my awakening, I was probably very similar to your previous look. Everything changed when my bloodline surfaced from a near-death experience by an evil half-sister."

“So your family was also horrible to you?” Rhea’s sad face hit home, as she was probably thinking of how I was also abused by my parents, as she was.

“That’s right, but my sister was the worst of them all. The night before I left for the academy, she knocked me out with a blunt object and repeatedly kicked me in the face. Her aim was to disfigure me before I came to school because my appearance was superior to hers.” I sighed at the bitch, who was Caroline. “I guess someone was looking out for me because right after I woke up in a pool of my own blood, the awakening occurred and healed me back to perfect health.

Looking over at Rhea, she had more tears in her eyes than I've ever seen before as she hugged me tightly. “Celestia, if you need to cry it out, please use my shoulder; I want to take care of you as well. You’ve been so sweet to me, and I haven’t been able to do anything for you.”

“It’s alright, Rhea; I don’t need to waste any tears on that trash. As far as I’m concerned, they're completely irrelevant to my life, and I don’t plan to acknowledge them in the future. Maybe someday I will drop by and give them what they deserve, but not something I will go out of my way to accomplish.”

“Well, if you’re alright with that.” Rhea said as she kept a tight hug around me.

“There is also one other secret I’ve been keeping away from you; I'm not sure if I should even tell you. It’s pretty much irrelevant to this new life, but it’s something that’s still a part of me.

I saw her head perk up as if a little nervous at another big bomb to throw onto the devastation that has been today’s events. My conflicting emotions on whether I should tell her about being a man in my past life. I’m sure she will think nothing of it and probably accept me no matter what, but it’s still a bit hard to come out with it. That’s why I just put myself on the spot right now to force it out. I don’t want any secrets between us. Stories with miscommunication are always annoying. I just want to lay it all bare right from the very start.

“There is still even more.” Rhea said it with a look of concern.

"Sadly, yes, but I’m not the kind of person to hold things in and want to get them off my chest. It’s just the kind of person I am and will probably always be in the future. It’s nothing as big as earlier, so don't worry.” I said it with a laugh.

“Alright, please tell me.” Rhea said as she sat down with me, snuggling into my side as if to give me comfort with what I was about to say.

“During my awakening, I didn’t just receive the vampire bloodline but also memories of another life I’ve lived, as we have talked about before.” I said it with a lot of nervousness. “In that other life, I was actually a man.”

“A man? That must have been difficult to switch genders.” Rhea muses with astonishment. “But at the same time, you remind me more of a heroine from a novel than of a man.”

“Let’s hope we're on the winning side of this novel; otherwise, our future will be a rough one.” I said with conflicting emotions, “That was my last secret. There will be no more surprises. But I have to ask, Does it weird you out at all that I used to be a man in my past life?”

“It doesn’t change anything. I’m pretty sure that, whether you’re male or female, I would have had the same feelings towards you. Plus, aren’t you known as Celestia now instead of whoever you were in the past?” She said it with confidence.

“That’s true.” I said with a sigh, “I guess my worry was for nothing. I don’t feel like my past life self or this one, to be honest, more of a mix between both of them. When I received those memories, it was as if a missing piece of the puzzle had just been filled in. Even though I lived as a man for much longer than I’ve been a female, I don’t hate it.”

“You’re very beautiful, Celestia, but honestly, your looks had nothing to do with my attraction to you. It was more about how warm and caring you’ve been towards me ever since we met. I felt your sincerity with everything you’ve said, and I couldn’t help having very strong feelings towards you. Is this love? It could be, but I’m still too new to this type of feeling to say for certain.”

“So you’re saying you don’t love me? Do you want me to cry?” I said it with a grin.

“What? No! That’s not what I meant! The only thing I know for sure right now is that no matter what, I want to stay by your side, wherever the future may bring us.” She said it with a pout, looking at me and laughing at her response.

“I look forward to our future together, Rhea, and let’s change this world into a place we can both be proud to live in!” I take both her hands and kiss each one. She gave me a big smile as she held on and flipped them over. So, she could imitate my action.

After a few hours of enjoying each other’s company with Hieko either sleeping or lying on my lap, we resume our journey to where the cradle is located. She never once asked why we were no longer at the school, as if she didn’t care at all.
