Weekly Journal (August 11th)

I'm over here adding sticky notes to pages, writing down quotes, trying to decide how to best reveal things without spoiling too much. And the big one, what on earth do I do for footage??
Typically when it's a game, I can just, you know, USE gameplay and show you what I'm talking about with that. But with a book? Dude I'm lost lol. Do I just put the text on screen? Do I film the book? Do I just... read to you on camera like I'm reading to a kindergarten class? I'll have to get creative with this one.
But other than that, and being a little behind schedule, the script is going quite well and I think this will be many people's favorite video of the year. This was originally intended to be one video, then I quickly realized it has a LOT of overlap with another topic I had in mind. I had a good example that could glue the two together as a transition point and voila. Masterpiece. That's a bit vain. PrettyGoodAtThisPiece.
The big thing I haven't decided on yet? Name and thumbnail lmao. I haven't the slightest on how to make this clickable. It's so bad I make a joke about it in the script, but the joke actually fits with the theme of the video! The thumbnail btw, I haven't even started on. That may be our lofi stream here soon, just a thumbnail editing sesh.
Anyway! There is your update. Oh I finished TLOU2... I have thoughts. Stay tuned for those. I think next is Deltarune ch3/4 and Obra Dinn. Only a few games left, we're getting closer to that time again 👀
P.S. I rewatched Everything Everywhere All At Once in preparation for this script. Cried in the second act. It's just so beautiful. Please watch it.

Ooh I’m excited for this one! Also slightly off topic, but the mention of Gossip Girl compulsively NEEDS me to tell you to listen to the audiobook “Dungeon Crawler Carl” I think the humour, action and emotional moments would be down your alley! Obra Dinn is fantastic and I cannot wait for your thoughts on TLOU2 and the next "masterpiece" video 👀 Also yes, Everything Everywhere All At Once is an absolute goldmine of entertainment and I do need to rewatch it sometime soon, I second your sentiment for anyone reading this as well... if you haven't seen it, to buy it and watch it... don't even look at a trailer, you'll have a good time I promise ✉️ *signed, sealed, and delivered letter of recommendation* by some random guy on the interwebs 🤣
