Weekly Journal (June 30th)

Well my friends, another project in the books! The reception for the "Not Yet" video was kind of conflicting. Analytics were... regrettable to say the least 😂

But that's okay 😂 Everyone strikes out, and these numbers being "bad" is a really great standard to have, so I'm grateful for those who did turn out for it. And also, more importantly, those that did watch this seemed to absolutely love it. Some of the reception I received for how it emotionally affected people, the things they learned about themselves, how they found themselves very moved by it... that's the good shit right there. That is why I do this, and analytics aside, I'm thrilled that people were so genuinely affected. So if you enjoyed this, I'm honored, it was for you.

That being said... it is time to move onto other business.

Y'all it was so much fun to write about Clair Obscur. I finished the script yesterday and it ended up being 10 pages which means... probably going to be about a 30-40 minute video. Let me tell you something. COULD have been a 2 hour one haha. Like 1000xResist, there is just a vast galaxy of things I could write about this game. It was extremely tough to stick to things that were actually relevant to my point. It was SO tough in fact that there are cut sections that I may voice and release on here later so that you can see what else I wanted to talk about haha. I might clump that in with the bloopers because I do have a few from the "Not Yet" video that I'll put in with the bloopers from the E33 viddy. So look forward to that.

Oh and... needless to say, prepare to feel. You knew that though, given what game this is haha.

Regarding the backlog, no real updates at this time. My friends and I have a big fighting game tourney that we do every year (just us, our annual vacay) so I'll be training for that between editing this. Once Mid-July has passed, it is backlog and video prod ONLY. It will be LOCK IN SZN. It will be a ton of fun.

OH. And also. There is a Sonic the Hedgehog secret lair for MTG and I... I mean what the fuck? I realize how unrelated this is, but I have to tell someone about it lmao.

Anyhoo... Thank you all so much for your patience with me this summer. I've felt off my game, I've been sick (multiple times), I've dealt with family emergencies and tragedy and it's been tough. But I think things are about to get back to normal. You guys are the best.
