The Sims 4 For Rent expansion is about to come out. With it, new features to explore. Rental units, property management, secrets and secret stealing? (I mean this seems way more devious than robbers, robbers just steal your TV, not read your journal, but I’ll take it). There’s a lot to explore with this new expansion, and a lot of code changes to chew over. I’m sure WP will need some more patches after the pack releases in a couple of hours. Regardless, I want my patrons to have access to the patch as soon as possible, so here’s the Patch for the Pre-Patch. Please remember to upgrade your other mods. Wicked Whims, Basemental Drugs, and the Tuning Error Notifier if you use it (not a requirement, just another mod I help maintain which was acting up with WP while I was working on the patch).

Hey Julie! I'm sorry for the late reply to this. I think I may know what bug you are experiencing a big patch to sex autonomy will likely be released this weekend, if not then on Monday which may address your issues. Sure, there's a bunch of ways we can swap LEs! We can use a free no account needed service such as pastebin.com. Just copy the text of the LE into the text box, hit the 'create a new paste' button and send me the url of the resulting page. If that doesn't work then email via NisaK@protonmail.com works too! For the email, I can be really slow on checking it, so if you go that route then feel free to also dm me here, or reply to me in this message so that I know to check my email asap. If you would like some additional help in sorting out the peculiarities to linking discord to patreon, then I'd be happy to help with that too!

I just want to be clear that I don't paywall patches and I view that behavior for a fan funded endeavor to be manipulative. At worse, a patch is released for the free version a day later because I rush out the Patreon patches until I'm literally about to fall asleep or my Patrons uncover additional issues that need to be fixed before the patch is released to a wider audience. Only rarely has it taken more than 1 day to patch the public after the Patreon is patched. You can find the maintained, public versions of my mod both on wicked.cc here https://wicked.cc/mods/nisa-k/nisas-wicked-perversions/ and on LL. As for not being able to load into your game. I'd be happy to help you with that. First thing first. Are you getting any Last Exception? Even if the game crashes on startup then a Last Exception still may be generated in your Mods folder or via MCC if you use it. If you find a last exception. Please send it to me via a free no account needed service such as pastebin.com. We can find an alternative method to share too if that doesn't work for you! Depending on when you last played, a lot of your mods may be out of date. To test this, I recommend trying a minimal install test. Rename your mods folder as something like 'mods2' then create a new mods folder. Move over (make sure you update first) WW, WP, BMD (if you use it, remember to use the updated venue list too), and MCC (also if you use it) to the new mods folder along with the resource.cfg file. load into a game, you can try your previous save but if you do then be sure not to save during this test. You should also try a new save too as there is a rare maxis bug with the for rent expansion which corrupts worlds currently. If the game loads, then you'll need to do a 50/50 method to sus out which mods could be causing the game crash. If you send me an LE, I might be able to direct you towards the troubled mods.

I have long been a supporter of this mod under a different username and had to create a whole new account, spend the money to get the most recent patch and STILL cant load my save due to the newest files. Not too happy as i cant even load my save without the files and play any saves ive had going for years.

I'm not familiar with pastebin and I'm not having success connecting to the discord channel. Is there anywhere else I can send the LE? It tells me it's a posture error.

If so, then can you please send them to me using a free, no account needed service such as pastebin.com (just copy the text of the last exception into the the text box, hit the 'create a new paste button' and then send me the URL of the resulting page)? You can also send me the LE on discord, but if neither of these methods work then we can find another way.

2024-02-03 16:28:37 +0000 UTCI was able to figure it out after reinstalling Better Exceptions; I guess it had stopped working because after running the game with it, the trouble mod was found pretty much immediately. It was the Photography Aspiration Mod, which is weird because it's not an NSFW mod but all of the non-BE exceptions kept bringing up this mod and Wicked Whims itself.

Just copy and past the last exception text into the text window, then hit the 'Create a New Paste' Button below and send the me url of the resulting webpage. Catbox.moe is another service which works very similarly. As another option, you can link your Patreon account to your discord account to join the mod’s discord server and send me the LE through there if you wish. However, if none of these options work, we find still another way.

2024-01-09 21:09:38 +0000 UTCHey guys, I'm sorry for the delay in responding. I don't normally use Better Exceptions, but I installed it and wasn't getting an out of date error for my mod. For on out of date mod, my mod should tell you on startup if WP is out of date with a notice about what version it's detecting you have installed vs which version you should have installed. If the version doesn't match the version you think you have installed, then it's probably due to having a duplicate install. Go to your The Sims 4/Mods folder and search for all mods with the name 'nisa' in it. If more than one file with the same name pops up, delete them all and redownload and then install just the latest version above. If you are getting a better exception then I can't comment on what may be happening without seeing the better exception. You'll need to send it to me via a free no account needed service such as pastebin.com, over discord, or via email. Often times better exception just scans the traceback log and blames whatever mod it sees. For this reason many mod authors hide their injection from better exception, I do not and so I end up getting falsely blamed a bunch. Still, it could be something I missed bet again I won't be able to comment more without seeing the Better Exception.

Make sure you are running v2.2.6kb by downloading it above and replacing your current installation with the one above. If it still says you are out of date, then what version is it saying you should have installed? Which version do you have Installed (can be found in my mod's settings menu). Try checking your The Sims 4/mods folder for duplicates by searching for all files with the name 'nisa' in it. If duplicates pop up, delete them all and install just the above.

The mod has been in a bit of a maintenance mode for quite a while now due to some now resolved health problems which I haven't talked about publicly much. I have been working on things, and I actually have a ton of partially completed features while I was sick, some of which needs to be reworked and some perhaps revisited if it's something people even still want (like with the werewolf expansion I made some really neat nyaccubus (nyan(cat) + succubus) cas parts for a planned hybrid werewolf succubus state (not actually a werewolf, but a werewolf themed hybrid state. I'm not really if it makes sense to release this before other core succubus features are finished. Such as better autonomy for NPC succubus, succubus powers, and so forth.) I've also improved my 3d modeling skills a lot in the time I was sick, and I really want to deliver some cc and bb objects with gameplay effects soon as making 3d art has always been something I've wanted to do. I'm getting a bit off track. While I was sick, I grew a bit rusty in quite a few areas, but the bigger problem has been a hit to my confidence. I have future plans for the mod that I’m working on delivering. I think the only hope I have is to ramp back up my development cycle starting with smaller releases and working up to larger releases. Sucucubus autonomy and better strip club integration will likely be my next content update, but, like I said, I have a ton of partially completed features. So you’ll likely be getting a mix of some odd updates soon (I have some neat custom earings done, a piercing overhaul which needs to be reworked now, and a neat new strip club modifier to name a few things which may get released in any order). I just need to find the confidence in my self to share my creations with the world again… as dumb and shameful as those sounds. After you’ve been struggling for so long with a sickness, you get a certain weird feeling that the world has left you behind. Anyways, I’m healthy now and I’m thankful for you being interested enough to ask!
