2016 and Me!

There is currently a 2016 challenge going around that involves reviewing old photos. When I was looking back, I realized that was the year I started Patreon. It was not because the photos specifically reminded me of the platform, but rather because I saw photos of my new apartment.

2016 was the year I had to move out of my previous apartment because I could not afford it, forcing me to live in a house with five roommates. It was somewhat heartbreaking to be in that much financial trouble, and the idea of living with strangers was the worst kind of torture an introvert could ask for. Fortunately, when you live with that many people, rent is cheap, which meant I did not need to make much money to survive. That was when I started to focus on building my Patreon and working on it full time. I quit my job at the golf course and spent every hour of the day working on Patreon and making costumes from the smallest bedroom I had ever lived in.

At this point I also had a cat. Because another roommate had a cat, mine had to stay in my room at all times, and the litter box had to be in my closet. I had to keep all my clothes in garbage bags, and I would clean the box every time he used the bathroom. My desk was a chair, and my seat was my mattress on the floor.

I am just uploading some random 2016 photos, so please do not look too deep into them. There are some unfinished costumes, some geekiness, some sexiness, and of course a cat. I really cannot believe I started doing all this with a face full of cat litter and a chair lol.
