Graphic card torture...
Added 2024-07-21 15:30:01 +0000 UTCI will keep this short. I think I am at almost 70 percent of all the renders done. Problem is that the current renders are extremely slow because of the memory load the graphics card has to deal with in both last locations.
last render. empty dollhouse, no characters but already many lightsources and reflective material...
Especially the Dollhouse, which is now very crowded, crashed because of the many characters...I think it is the most characters in one shot I've done. So yeah, remember to always save your progress!
15 characters added, lights dimmed but even more lightsources and some dollhouse props. Chain color change, turned metal reflectivity down a bit. no postwork, no denoiser yet :)
The result is worth it, I think. I especially like the look of the Dollhouse with both some dolls and a circus/clown theme and some story behind it, it is just a bit frustrating to render with all the reflective material.
Still one more scene in the dollhouse to render, then we'll move on to the vampire club. Then, depending on how many renders there are, I will decide if it is enough or if we add a side quest to the release. But I guess one step after the other, and since the vamp club is the grand finale, we have to make it extra spicy ;)

the outfit is going to be difficult. since these are 2d renders, having 2 different outfits means making every artwork twice for each outfit

Some things I'd love to see (be it for Mantis oder tSoB) is multipe interactions per day (our job to manage the charaters energy) and also some personalization for the character (especially the outift? - would love to run around in latex👀). Keep it up!

2024-07-21 18:58:40 +0000 UTCLooks great I assume hope that the inside of the dollhouse is split into a few smaller areas say the bar the stage and tables to make it easier to talk with and interact with all the characters and easier on the computer than having everything be accessed from the first screen inside the dollhouse. Love the hanging lights and how much more dim the area is looks much more atmospheric and much cooler and more interesting than the bright lights. By the sounds of it the vampire nightclub will be hell to render so I guess it is a fitting punishment for making femdom games!! Keep things dark black brings out colour that is why it inking is so important in comics as it makes the colours pop so feel free to darken the vampire nightclub maybe even like 40% to save the graphics card and make it more scary. If you do end up with side quest space I assume it will be voted on witch will be exciting to see what ideas you have for us to choose between. Looks great as always can't wait to see the grand finale!

It seems like this chapter will really help bring this world to life, more than ever before. In earlier chapters, it felt like people were lurking more in the shadows - ready to pounce. Now it looks like we'll see more people going about their daily lives. Can't wait.
