Added 2023-11-05 16:30:01 +0000 UTCDamn, I forgot how tedious some of the work is. Like implementing imagemaps. I may have made 1-2 maps too much for my taste. Well, what can you do. I am really grateful for Renpy. I am always sloppy with the code and nothing really works on the first try, but at least Renpy always tells me where the error is.
Not that I understand everything...like the fact that you cannot give the labels numbers instead of names. I guess that is the disadvantage when you make two different games and alternate between them, because the engine of femdom city is entirely different
We are aiming for a release on the 19th. Two weeks away. hopefully I can hit it but it is not really a deadline. If I feel that coding and dialog will need more time it will get this time in order to make the update "worthy" :). But it is looking good so far...apart from all the sloppy errors that I am making ;)

2023-11-06 12:59:50 +0000 UTCI would really recommend RenPy, it is great. If you want to do a Visual Novel, it is the best engine, imo. Visual Novel Maker (the femdom city engine) does not stand a chance

I always found coding to be draining, write a whole script on to miss a single letter or , or whatever and the whole thing dies. I haven't tried using Ren'Py yet, I've been thinking about giving it a try and making my own game. How do you like it or do you prefer the other engine you use for Femdom city?

Yeah, I can well imagine the trouble you get by switching between two completely different programs. But I'm sure you can manage it at last.

2023-11-06 09:02:14 +0000 UTCit cannot speed things up unless it is new code that i need. in the future it might be able to help me with things like a gallery. but it cannot help with things like imagemaps because i already have them implemented in a specific way, so all of them need kind of the same code but with different variables
