URGENT: Chairs Fixed For The Bunk Bed Patch

Is there any update on this? Also, thank you for addressing the situation. I love all of your content

I am waiting for EA to address the situation cause they are aware of this change in the mechanics of the chairs. I am not sure if they are planning to revert back this change (cause frankly it doesn't make sense for them or us CC creators) so I'm holding back to replacing every file in my CC for now :)

What should we do if we downloaded the merged files? :o

For this specific instance, if you were to use an 'old' version of the chair, you would not be able to use it to eat and use it functionally. You'd get a routing error. It will also clog up your catalogue with multiple instance of the same item. Keep in mind that EA may present a patch to revert the 32-bit issue, then you'll have two sets of chairs to deal with. It's safest to either wait to update, or if you want to/already update, to set aside the 'old' chairs in a file. Good luck.

Does anybody know what would happen if you dont delete the old files and just add these new updated ones? A part of me reeeeeeally can't be bothered to go through all this stuff again... I have too much CC for this sh**. I'm laugh crying/ dying inside... Thank you very much for this update though!

At the moment my merged files contain broken chairs, you can keep those and install the new chairs, the blue icon is meant to help this type of situations where you have two versions of the same object, one broken and one fixed. I'll try to fix all my merged files after my upcoming stuff pack is done and released! i promise c:

Stupid question I guess, but I have all your stuff packs as merged files... do I need to delete them all and get them seperatly and then delete the old files and replace them with the new or?

Probably in the future! I'm focusing on my upcoming pack right now

There's new tuning for modular furniture (sofas, etc) that they added in for future items.

I really feel for you and all Modders and CAS creators, more and more with each new Patch or Game pack, that EA releases there is a break in the game, I truly feel EA should just give up, stop trying to support such a broken game and leave it as it currently is. Modders and CAS creators have kept the life going for SIMS4, but now it's time for EA to just STOP.
