After not having drawn much the past few days, I wanted to be productive and get something done for you guys, what with it being about a week since I uploaded anything. I'm also trying to get used to a new drawing set up that I have! While buying parts for my new computer, I got the idea of buying a 8bitdo micro controller to use as a small device for shortcut keys. However, they didn't have any at Micro Center. I was talking with one of the employees as we pondered on alternatives like a micro stream deck, but eventually settled on a bluetooth enabled mechanical numberpad. It wound up being better than the 8bitdo controller. Now I'm having to unlearn holding the side of my ipad as I draw and instead have my hand on the numberpad. For those curious, it was this guy: https://www.microcenter.com/product/651928/inland-wireless-mechanical-numeric-keypad It's got some nice heft to it. While I'm not a fan of glowing RGB lights, it's nice to have it for this thing as it'll turn off after a few minutes of no use so as to save battery, turning off the lights in the processes. Makes it super noticeable to see if it turned off, at which point you press a key and it turns back on.
