I used to be really into Touhou, circa around 2007ish through 2011, with me falling off around 12. Like, buying physical copies of several of the games despite pirating them into it, since there wasn't an easy way to get them otherwise. I own physical copies of 8, 10, and 11. I was never very good at the games, playing mostly on normal mode and dying a few times before reaching the end. Best I ever got was in Touhou 8, which was considered the "easier" one back then. Even so, I really liked the character designs, and especially the music. I'd listen to the music all the time when driving. Many a nights I'd be driving home from community college, blasting touhou while speeding down the highway and ruining my ears. Shit got me PUMPED to the MAX, YO! I even make a few remixes back in the day that are available on newgrounds that I will not link to. Doubt I'll ever get into the newer ones. I got 1-11 to satisfy myself with. Plenty of touhou for touhouing.
